Can't stress enough how successful this team can be, especially when all players are available. Hope we get to see a u21, u20 scrimmage in the future bc I think this cycle of players could beat the last.

4-0. Own goal.

Looks like this team will have two very good LB's in Requejo Jr. and Caleb Smith.

55 minutes to kickoff and there are already 40 people on the youtube channel. I caught the last 5 minutes of coverage of the Chile vs Bermuda match. High quality stream with an announcer.

Here's the direct link for tonight's match:

Gall's free kick was excellent. Who had the off balance kick from the top of the box early that had the keeper beat but was cleared off the line?

I don't know about you but when I see young players named Gooch and Donovan, I feel like I am playing FIFA career mode in 2032 and FIFA just keeps recycling old player surnames to create young players.

Arriola has been the most impressive for me thus far. Great skill to get around his defender, then a perfect cross to Arce who should've finished. Not to mention that long ball played out to Arriola on the right that he took straight down. Brilliant control.

1400 people streaming right now at half time. It was over 1500 last I checked in game.

I have to give huge credit to US soccer for streaming this game. I think this is an excellent sign that the federation gets it. Sure its only us diehards watching right now but imagine Gooch (or anybody else) were to go on a tear with amazing play in the second half. Us 1500 diehards would start talking about a young exciting player coming through the ranks to fans that just started watching the MNT which would further their excitement in the full team.

Thats the thing Skangles...USSoccer knows they have a gold mine with the streaming...yet we get scraps...hopefully they realize this is a good way to get more people watching and learning about new players of the future.

Oh and it was Arce that had his shot cleared off the goalline

I also really like the format and teams invited given that this is really just a few Friendlies to try and establish a team and sense of rhythm.

The US gets to play two quality teams and one minnow. Bermuda got the chance to have their 20 year olds play against the US, Australia and Chile. How amazing is that? I'm not saying that Bermuda will suddenly become good but this about the best move they could have made to accelerate their young player development.
