There we go if he can translate friendly appereances into some time with Fulham during the season or a loan move I could see him getting called up for the friendly against the czech republic.

Magath started that 17 year old striker Dembele last year, if Emerson is ready, he will play under this coach at Fulham.

When I saw they put Emerson as the poster boy on the web site I was pretty sure he would be involved in the first team. Good to see he is getting chances.

Fulham manager Felix Magath gives ringing endorsement of Emerson Hyndman:
" I am convinced that he will be playing for America in 4 years time at the 2018 WC." - Felix Magath.
I think this guy knows what he is talking about having managed Schalke, Wolfsburg, Bayern Munich, Stuttgart, Werder Bremen, Hamburg. And a playing career that included 43 caps with the West German national team. Also he was a very good attacking midfielder himself.

What will be huge for Emerson is if Fulham can make it back to the EPL within the next couple years. His development will improve tenfold if he can find minutes against EPL-caliber sides.
However, I think it's actually perfect that they're in the Championship at this stage of his career. Hopefully means Magath is a little more willing to throw him out there.

Agreed, Championship is a nice test of his ability to make an impact with the first team prior to any possible EPL minutes. Great to hear, keep us posted!

If Magath gives him games in the Championship, I will be forever grateful.

Yeah. Good passes and as the tweet stated, "tidy". Not a lot of productive passing but I like it. Good start from the kid. Let's get him some more minutteessss.

He's gonna be called up in September. Kid looks to be a consistent starter 90 minute player.

What this tells me is that Fulham is turrrrrrible. They have 3 of the top 5 in most passes completed in the league, yet they are 0-2. That's not good.
