Drop Spector & Kljestan from contention. Neither of them are worth roster spots at this point. In place of Kljestan bring in Jones....a WC Vet who performed really well in Brazil...to be the mentor to a lot of the young guys. In the case of Spector it's a little more difficult since we don't have many backs in Europe these days. if JK can pull it would love to see Toljan in a US kit.

Personally I would drop both of them however I am projecting Klinsmanns roster not nessecarily. He might be bringing in young players but he also wants to include some hungry players who didnt make the world cup. Jones is rumored to be looking at mls so thats why I didnt include him in the roster. If klijestan moves to the mls also I would guess a guy like Emerson Hyndman would get called up instead I think he will get playing time in the championship especially since Felix Magath is very willing to give young players a chance.

I predict that Shea will be called up for this friendly.

Both Boyd and ArJo will be out for this game.

So that will leave Agudelo, Dempsey, and Altidore as the three players to definitely get called up for FWD as long as they aren't injured. But here are some others who will more than likely be in the running:

Wooten: Big, strong, and can score goals. May be the best time to bring him in.

Wood: Playing more as an outside FWD(where I have always felt is his best position) in 1860's revamped 4-3-3 in pre-season. He scored a goal against Stoke City over the weekend.

Shawn Parker: If he commits and makes that one time switch, he will be called up. But like Wood he is more of an outside FWD.

Zardes: Strong possibility if he continues to score goals for LA.

I'm excited to see some fresh faces in this game. It'll be nice to see a USMNT team game that doesn't have me biting my nails the whole time. Evaluating players is one of my favorite parts of watching this team.

Really time for Agudelo to step it up and make the Jozy backup spot his own.

Zardes would be an awesome addition. Not sure if he'd be called up now but hes put himself in a great spot with the way hes playing for LA.

I would agree with this. Has anyone heard anything regarding Juan? It may be hard for him to find a spot on the roster if he isn't playing.

Yeah Juan needs to find a team first. I was hopeful that he would have signed with Utrecht. Haven't heard of any suitors for him besides Utrecht, Hannover, and supposedly a host of Eredivisie teams.

Ill be interesting to see Will trapp and Kitchen from the crew and united. Both mids are crucial to both clubs in the middle of the park. As well as adding Gil to that list of MLS mids. Maybe we even get to see Powers, shipp and Rowe even if Revs are struggling.
The question is whether JK will call MLS players during the MLS season or how many will he call.

He will call in more MLS players for this round of friendlies and probably none in October, with the playoffs around the corner in MLS.

We'll see of Juergen is a man of his word. He said he was going to leave the vets off as he knows what theyre capable of and instead go young. I don't see Dempsey getting called up but I could imagine him bringing in Jozy.

I don't think he meant leaving off every vet. I still see at least Deuce and Bradley getting called up in September.

Definitely most of the young MLS guys will all stay home and finish out their seasons. The "new" camp Jurgen in January is only for young players from here on out as Jurgen said previously. Duane Holmes has got to be on that field in Prague. Im with whoever said Holmes after I said Danny "not my knee again" Williams. Duane has that "it" factor.

Oh yeah I definitely want to see Holmes called up.

The biggest area of concern is the lack of CM's playing in Europe. Which leads me to believe that MLS players will be called up.

Right now it stands at:

Williams: Injured
Kljestan: Not a USMNT caliber player, so it's a waste to continue calling him in
Holden: Injured
Morales
Cameron: Best position is DM. But plays RB.
Spector: Would be interesting to see him get a look at CM.
Diskerud
Stanko

I mean lets be clear there is a lack of US players actually playing with first team European teams across the board this up coming season.

Bundesliga:
Chandler: first team player/ probable starter
Fabian: First team player/ probable starter
Gyau: Is schedule to be a second team player
Green: Scheduled to be a second team player
Stanko: Scheduled to be a bench first team player this season
Shawn Parker: Hasn't made up his mind to play for the US, and also looks to be a bench player for Augsburg. Also he may not be as good as what people think.
Brooks: Will he be a starter?
Mario Rodriguez: Second team player who may get a run out with Monchengladbachs first team during cup competitions.
Junior Flores: U-19 player
Devante Parker: Same as his brother.
David Yelldell: Back-up keeper

Seria A:
None

La Liga:
None

Eredivisie:
ArJo; Injured for the start of the season
Rubin: Hard to tell when he actually will break into the first team for Utrecht. They give young players a chance, so he may be with the first team from day one.

EPL:
Altidore: Who knows what his status with Sunderland will be this year
Cameron: Where will he play? Is he still a starter?
Howard: first team/starter
Guzan: First team/starter
Shea: Who knows what his status will be with Stoke this season
Cropper: Second team player
Pelosi: Second team player
Lynden Gooch: Second team player who may get run outs during the cup competitions.

Norway:
Diskerud: Sometime starter
Gatt: Injured

Championship:
Holmes: Hopefully will be a starter
Spector: Injury prone and sometime starter
Ream: Starter
Williams: Starter when healthy
Packwood: Splits time as a starter and bench player
Holden: Injured. Who knows what happens with him this season
Hyndman: Looks to be heading in the right direction for Fulham. But still has a lot to prove this season.
Lichaj: Starter when healthy. Klinsmann has of yet to really give him a chance.

Bundesliga II:
Wooten: Looks to be headed as a starter for his new team this season
Wood: Will split time as a starter and squad player
Boyd: Injured
Morales: Starter

Belgium:
Kljestan: Not a USMNT caliber player. Relegated to the bench last season, and it looks like he will be a bench player this season as well.

Limbo:
Agudelo

Greece:
Nico Gaitan: Has been getting first team minutes in the pre-season.

That doesn't inspire confidence across the board. MLS players will still be getting called in for the September and October friendlies.
