What are the chances that Gil breaks in the starting XI for RUssia ? That would put Bradley in his best position at CDM
Or even Chris Klute and Dillian Powers

Anybody who doubts Bill Hamid should watch highlights from the DC United vs San Jose match. He was an utter beast and channeled his inner Timmy Howard.

In my opinion, Hamid needs to be more consistent and then look for a move overseas.

The one thing he and Sean Johnson have is age and experience . They take a few more years in MLS then look for a nice move to Europe.

But that's always been one of the knocks against Hamid. His inconsistency.

Agreed, he definitely needs to be more consistent. Yesterday was his best performance that I can recall, hopefully its the start of things to come.

How about Devante Parker 2 goals in a friendly today against FC Zurich and both goals were really well taken. You talk about a player whos getting hot at the right time its Devante Parker you have to think Klinsmann is trying to recruit Devante along with Shawn Parker. Although Devante is quite young but nothing wrong with calling him up to train with the team. Hyndman also had an assist today he has been getting some good friendly minutes with the fulham team.

Also Maki Tall and Romain Gall hopefully will be both called up for the u-21 team. I know packwood has been called up for that game. Any ideas if Maki Tall would be elgible for the u-21 team or if he would need to make a one time switch due to him making the french u-20 team.

To hold me over until September 3, I just watched the US vs China Friendly from 2007 because I definitely did not remember the result.

In Bradley's first match as US coach (full time, not interim) he played a 4-3-3 with this lineup (age).

Beasley (25) - Razov (33) - Dempsey (24)
Bradley (19) - Feilhaber (22) - Kljestan (23)
Bornstein (22) - Boca (28) - Gooch (25) - Spector (23)
---------Howard (28)----------

Look at how young this roster was and what a pivotal role they all played in the 2010 World Cup cycle. Everybody except Razov and Kljestan made the 2010 World Cup roster.

This Friendly was right before the 2007 Gold Cup. While Bob selected a lot of young players for the Gold Cup, he followed it up by taking an extremely young team to the 2007 Copa America.

Bob then had the famous 2009 Confederations Cup and the 2009 Gold Cup as build up for the 2010 World Cup.

In the 2014 cycle, Bob managed the team through the 2011 Gold Cup leaving Juergen with the 2013 Gold Cup as his only competitive tournament before the 2014 World Cup.

With Juergen's recent comments about playing the youngsters and with a loaded calendar over the next four years, we should be very well positioned for the 2018 World Cup.

I don't think I'm going to be able to take the rampant speculation about 2018 WC rosters for the next 4 years. Maybe I can I find the discipline to avoid these particular threads for at least 2 years.

It wont be impossible to see as many youngster as possible from JK. He did the same thing with Germany when they were reorganizing themselves after the 200 Euros. So it will be amazing to see so many new faces even if we struggle at the beginning.

What do people think of Dillion Serna. Have seen some rapids game and he seems very dangerous going forward and can score goals. For a 20 year old he has started more of rapids games and you can say he has been flying under the radar. He has potential thats for sure

Could be a surprise who JK wants for his future camps. Hopefully with 4 years he leaves no stone unturned.
