That was a good one mmee.

We are more of Italy 06 using the enitre roster (all defenders but Chandler have played) than we are a team with a set 11 with a few subs who always come in. This allows Jurgen to make the decisions in game. Perhaps they will have the 4 CBs but they may need to change due to injuries. But I still agree with the point about Green, an explained out version of what i was trying to say.

I know this might get people going but here me out.
What are the chances of green playing this game or next game if we qualify as an impact sub? The normal response is prob 0 mins and I understand that. But then i think about about how Jurgen said Green is the X factor and also how he has been training for this team for weeks now. Also how to the fact that Jurgen has the balls to put anyone out there at any time (yedlin). So with all that logic is green a curve ball that can catch any team on this world cup out of place? Can you you imagine green being there as something Jurgen can use to shock the opposing team and everyone? Gotta remember no one has seen him play in this world cup and the logic would be, "they wont play a 19 year old"

You never know with Klinsmann but I would think that Green playing is a sign that we are winning or possibly losing by multiple goals.

The biggest questions I have about our lineup Tuesday don't have anything to do with Green.

Who will start at CB, Cameron or Omar?
Who starts at RM and LM, and do we start a second striker w/ Dempsey or stick with the formation we've been using of late?

My guess is that Gonzales keeps the starting job...maybe. And I expect Zusi and Bedoya to be on the field. I pray Brad Davis does not see the field again.

Hard to tell. Right now I think Yedlin, Mix, Wondo, and Aron are all ahead of Green when it comes to attacking substitutions. But you never know.

Omar is going to start for my money at CB.

As far as Brad Davis goes, we need possession to use his crossing ability. Last game everytime he found space he was waiting as the ball moved around we turned it over. That goes for Zusi as well. We need possession higher up the field, those two guys really aren't counterattackers. But dont write off Davis because he was stuck defending all game v Germany.

Maybe I missed it but I didn't see him do much defending. Boatang was killing us on the left until Zusi switched over to replace Davis. Grant it didn't stop them but slowed them quite a bit compared to Davis.

This. I'd rather roll the dice with Bedoya who is solid defensively but has a tendency to be invisible offensively than Davis who has a strong left foot but didn't defend a lick against Germany.

I think the only way green plays is if we find ourselves downultiple goals early. Say we're down 2-0 at the half. By the 60th minute we have to go all out and I could see bringing him in for beckerman.

Yayyy Jozy. We look so good when he's on the field, even if he isn't creating chances for himself or scoring. He really opens up our offense and as well as Dempsey has filled his shoes as of late, Dempsey is much more potent attacking wise as a withdrawn forward.

Why is ESPN making a big deal that our official tomorrow is Algerian?

Yes, it was a dramatic late win in 2010 but the goal was clean and there was nothing controversial about it. Plus that goal didn't eliminate Algeria. If that game ended in a draw England and Slovenia were going through and the US and Algeria were going home.

I don't see why this should be a concern.
