yea maybe... its always easy to second guess the coach if we lose... say wondo puts the goal in, which he does 9 times out of ten, then klinsy is a genius. We played our hearts out but in all honesty we didnt deserve to win. We would have stolen the game. I would have been going bananas but still lets sit back and enjoy the next 2 weeks of the world cup and then hope that the mls continues to grow. I hope that next world cup or 2022 we have a young player from a mls acadamy like yedlin but maybe has a world wide impact on the game

I didnt second guess, I called everything out before the game and I said a million times that Boyd should've went over Wondo.

Im not enjoying anything with the US is out. I'll probably watch the final and thats it.

you know that play was called off side, right?

Was that ever confirmed? He was at leat a yard onside and Darke said later he was just waving for the goal kick.

yo guys, just to settle some beef with the Wondolowski miss at the end of regulation, the ref called offsides on wondo even though he was clearly on. It would not have counted whether he made it or not.

You dont miss a sitter like that! The flag was up for a goal kick, not offsides!

I'm sorry but JK sucks as a coach. Good scout and motivator. Majority of guys are worse than Landon. His stupid decisions. Be proactive he said. The USA were outplayed in 3 of their 4 games. Bradley should have been sat if he sucked or moved back to his original spot. They would have been out with Donovan and he would have done more than Bradley, Zusi, Bedoya, wondo and AJ. I hope they get rid of jk as coach and maybe keep him around as something else.

What would you have done differently? Who would you rather coach the team? Do you think any coach would have gotten farther based off the group and the other things thrown at them?

Bielsa would be awesome. Even Lavolpe. I honestly think yes. I believed and knew they would get out but I never pictured them being outplayed so bad. 30+ shots today? They say that with Jk we finally beat Ghana. We'll with Bruce they dominated Germany and were a handball away from tying the game. First thing I would have done is slot Bradley back to his spot. He sucked as a ten, move him back and get Mix in there. Wondo? Davis? Zusi? Bedoya? Mix? Bradley? All those over Donovan as an attacking option, no way. But what's done is done and what happened happened. I really hope he doesn't keep on but he probably will.

I wouldn't mind Bielsa but don't think I'd want lavolpe. His record is the same as klinsmann in the WC with a much weaker group. I doubt we can get a big name coach until we start have top flight players and a team consistently in the top 10. There are times I don't always agree with what he does but I'd rather have him at the helm than Bradley, Arena or Sampson. Kreis could be there in a several years.

Hopefully that happens sooner than later.I'll always support the team even though I'm not happy with the coach/motivator.

The wondo play in question was not offsides referee on side had flag up for goal kick. If you check the fifa report of the game the us was whistled for zero offsides the entire game. I feel for wondo belgium dominated the second half and truthfully that was our only very good chance of the first 90 minutes. But at the same time I feel if it was johannson it would have been buried in the net.

The haters are coming out and coming out hard. Did any of you really expect the US to beat Belgium? I sure didn't but those guys gave there hearts the whole game and I'm proud of them. They represented out country well. Sure Jurgen made some choices that we didn't agree with but what coach doesn't? He has given our team a bright future and I'm excited for that future.

I hope we can keep the positives going, keep the national team and the national league as visible as possible. So definitely schedule national team matches on any match dates we can (we can schedule one more in the September window besides the Czechs I believe), have a full January camp, play more than one friendly during it please. Build to the Gold Cup which if we win it we're in the Confederations Cup outright, no playoff needed. Even if some guys won't be around in 4 years' time, they still could help us in the next cycle. We should invest heavily in building a strong Olympic team for 2016, we have talent in the pipeline this time to do it, but they'll need support and mentoring from the veterans. We've seen time and again (Cobi Jones in the 2006 cycle, Carlos Bocanegra in this one) guys contribute in key ways in the buildup but be long gone by the time the next World Cup rolls around.

Just so upset at Wondo.

The only gripe I have with JK is putting him in (and or taking him). Since the Mexico game he has been dreadful for America, missing some EASY chances. I also would have like to see some Mixx in as a Wing, Zusi was clearly off on his crosses/corners all tournament (except for 1). The guy is usually GOLD on his corner kicks, they have been pretty bad since Ghana.

Once Altidore went out none of these games went the way I envisioned them...EXCEPT the final outcomes (Which I was almost dead on for every one).
