Not only is it great for Costa Rica but they'll definitely have a decent chance to make the quarters. They'll face either Colombia if they fall to 2nd or get one of the dissapointing Ivory Coast/Greece/Japan. Either way they'll have avoided all the top dogs. CONCACAF and MLS are showing great and if they keep it up I think there will be some decent transfers next month

They have a good chance of topping the group. England is in total disarray.

To think We could have three CONCACAF teams advance to the quarters. The sad thing is, is that Mexico and Costa Rica could meet in the next round.

It's still an accomplishment for CONCACAF to have gotten 3 to the round of 16, and without being able to play any of the teams from Asia to do it since they were in our pot (and we all saw how mediocre the Asian confederation was, failing to win a game between the 4 teams, 3 draws and 9 defeats).

CONCACAF and Asia both sent without any question their top 4 teams of this cycle. The results speak for themselves. Asia is on the decline until the middle eastern teams develop more and the far east teams retool. CONCACAF is on the rise. Africa is in turmoil with lots of talent and a huge middle class (African teams 6-20 would destroy Asia and CONCACAF 6-20) but no really elite or near elite teams

While I agree with the vast majority of this, I personally think that Panama wouldn't have gone out quite so easily had we not rescued Mexico. Honduras showed that their qualifying campaign was more or less a fluke. Not saying that they don't have talent, but they weren't playing well as a team which, as Portugal showed, is first and foremost if you want to make it out of the group stage.
