Did anyone see the Columbia-Greece match?

How did Mark Geiger do? Did he do us proud?

He did very well. Granted there weren't many controversial moments in that match. Called a fair match. Definitely did not hurt himself. I think he will get further matches. But he really wasn't that challenged in terms of having to make iffy calls.

Fantastic!! Underrated by FIFA, almost for sure, so I hope he keeps doing it right!

Best Ref in the tournament so far.

Uruguay-Costa Rica's ref was pretty good. He lost points because he missed a penalty on Uruguay when they held a Costa Rican player in the box much to the same manner as the Costa Rican player who was called for a pk.

It was the first match with no controversial calls in it so I'd say he did his job.

I liked Mark Geiger's style, he really allowed for fair, physical play with no diving. Worked hard out there, much better than Brian Hall from back in the day. Doing us proud out there, hopefully he keeps getting matches. (In light of the Japanese ref - at least Geiger can communicate with the players.)

I believe I saw he is going to get the Spain vs Chile game on Wednesday. That will be a tough match. Good luck.

Good first half for Geiger. Very consistent. Not letting Spain intimidate him

Finished off those 45 with another solid 45'. He should make the knockout stages.

Tough match for him he handled it well. Only thing he could have done better is punish Ramos for that disgusting play leaving his studs up. COuld have been red but yellow would be less harsh
