I just watched the highlight of Julian's green goal vs belgium

At 44 seconds, You can see bedoya sitting on the bench un-interested while Klinsmann, Guzan and beckerman are going bananas..... bedoya is a lil cry baby $%^&* jealous he doesn't have those skills.

Yeah I saw that. I think he realizes his USMNT future is over.

Generally I think the third place match is pointless but watching Brazil getting humiliated for a second straight match is oh so entertaining.

Brazil was extremely over rated. When they played Croatia they got outplayed and need it the refs to win.

Argentina had the best chances but Germany had the better play. Im frustrated because messi played horrible. I expected much more. I thought Argentina was gonna win it but they failed. Most Americans were cheering for Argentina.

Goetze's goal was pure class. Both the set up from Schuerrle and finish from Goetze could not have been better.

I feel bad those guys get such cheesy looking medals. FIFA needs to do much better than that with those medals.

No, see, they can't spend the money on better medals, it has to go into the "reserve".

For me this has been the most enjoyable World Cup I've watched. A lot of that is due to the relatively convenient time zone of the games and technology advances like WatchESPN and DVR but I've never watched this many games before.

After the shaky start made by referees in the Brazil and Mexico matches, I thought they were ok throughout the remainder of the tournament. There were definitely some bad calls but not nearly as many as in years past.

Only because of messi. And for a fact most Americans hate Germany for many reasons. Most people that are not even soccer fans or know nothing about it were going for Argentina. If there was a poll it would of been 70-30 in favor of Argentina.

Funny because there is a poll by ESPN Sportsnation that asked that very question. With 223,000 responses it was 53% for Germany, 47% for Argentina.

With Germany being the first European team to win a World Cup in the Americas, I suspect that we'll be seeing a trend of teams building their own training facilities in future World Cups.
