Can you imagine if he scores a goal in Brazil? Bids will be flying in.

If he shows well in limited appearances at the WC it's going to be hard for any team to wrestle him away from Bayern on a permanent transfer. I could see a loan happening, but the Bayern Brass and coaching staff, who all highly rate him, aren't going to let him go an a permanent transfer.

Being over here in Germany most rumors are that Green will be loaned to a 2nd bundesliga team for the upcoming season

So what will be this year's CJ Sapong to Arsenal rumor? That one takes the cake.

Not sure how far fetched say a bunch of injuries occur and Yedlin is forced to play some and shows well in Brazil. Seattle could be fielding a bunch of offers

Seattle is going to be fielding offers for Yedlin in the next couple of years regardless.

I really hope that they don't push him into a move in England, send him to the Netherlands or let him stay in Germany...best thing for him, IMO

I think Yedlin has much farther to go than some realize. Sure he is fast and very physical and decent at beating up on attackers 1v1. However, the kids technical skill and reading of the game just isn't where it should be if we are talking about a true blue chip RB prospect. IMO, he is pretty weak with the ball at his feet unless he has tons of space and is moving at full speed. His passing and one touch combinations with midfielders needs to improve dramatically, and he loses the ball quite often and easily when marginally pressured. He is young, but to over take Fabian or Chandler is going to be quite difficult.

Weak with the ball at his feet? France's and PSG's LB Lucas Digne would disagree with that when Yedlin destroyed him off the dribble last summer at the U-20 WC.

Yes Yedlin has some developing to do still. That's why I said in the next couple of years Seattle will be fielding offers for him. The kid doesn't turn 21 until July. My guess by 23 he will be a hell of a player while getting pursued by some big teams from Europe.

So I just read an article about the Julian Green talk...says ol' Potch has been scouting him for a while. I would say that a move to Tottenham wouldn't be as bad as some moves he could make in England, but I still think that it wouldn't be the best place for his development.

See if AZ is interested, get that partnership with IceBacon going.

I would like him at Everton. Roberto Martinez is a pretty progressive coach and willing to try out young talent. Deulofeu's loan with Everton just ended if I'm not mistaken, so it would be cool if he ended up there under Tim Howard, a good coach, and a position to fight for.

Fraser

I can dig that. Team up with Ross Barkley on the other side. Everton has been pretty friendly for American's in the past.
