This is the SHIT right here !!!!

That was so disappointing. I didn't see the 49ers in the link. All I saw was twitter. Was hoping it was confirmation that CR7 won't play Sunday.

AJ physically faster...but the chemistry is still a little thin with teammates. IMO Wondo chemistry and combo play is a little better with teammates than AJ...I think the ball moves faster with Wondo's 1-2 touch game. Wondo is gritty with a high work rate, I'd start him and sub in AJ against heavy legs. Barring injuries, we probably see both.

I think people are basing it on the way we palyed agisnt Ghana in which we sat back and absorbed perssure, which is fair but that was also because of Jozy absense. Portugal still wont ve easy i mean they still have class players but its a winnable game in my opinion but 3 or more goals and a clean sheet seems like a strech.

Spot on analysis... we satback because we had a surprise injury, just like when MB90 went down with twisted ankle just before the game, threw us off...

This is a tough call. Ice Bacon didn't show us much vs. Ghana, but is more technically gifted than Wondo. I really think our best goal scoring opportunities will be set pieces so I would have to say Wondo should get the start. We can always sub Bacon at any time if Wondo does not do well. I also think we will see Davis as a sub this game or maybe vs Germany

I have to admit that I am a sucker for these emotionally laden promo videos. I was looking for the latest I Believe video that ESPN aired before the France vs Switzerland match that had Timmy holding a flag leading the I Believe with interspersed clips of the Dempsey and Brooks goals against Ghana and the chaps coming down the tunnel.

I cannot find it but there are these gems out there.

This has to be a must win with everything going our way and then decide who might take 1st place in the group against Germany

Maybe I thought about it for too long, but I now think JK will use Chandler at LB now, so that Portugal won't be able to put Ronaldo on our left side and beat the hell out of Beasley. It'll allow for OB side-switching if necessary.

As for everyone in front of the back 4, what a headache. I'm hoping not for Jones as LM, but maybe that's exactly what we need if Ronaldo runs down our left.

Germany's scarier for us to play third because they tied, but it was the best result for controlling our own fate.
Nothing wrong with needing 2 points from 2 teams better than we are.

I think a draw will be good enough. Cant see us and Germany both on 4 pts not playing for a draw given Jurgen and Yogi's long history. A draw v Portugal we are basically in. A win would just be gravy.

Game day!!!

I had trouble getting to sleep last night, very excited for the show.

Once again work is going very slow, can't wait for 18:00

Of course we play last, at 5pm central. The anticipation for these games is almost as good as the games themselves are.
