We put Cameron at CDM, we will be destroyed by the "new" Mexico in the gold cup, mark my words. It's all right we all have our likes and dislikes, but I'd rather go young and lose with a Trapp or a Kitchen, than put Geoff Cameron out at midfield again. Never agreed with admsmgs so much before, have I gotten food poisoning?

So you rather put an inexperienced player at that international player than a player that plays the position in the premier league? How does that work in terms of logic?

Who is better at the 6. Again. Bradley is not a 6. Give me options besides Cameron, and I can work with that. Jones is a CB and will be too old. Beckerman will be too old. We have guys coming up who haven't proven they can do it or haven't been given the chance. Just saying Cameron sucks isn't taking us anywhere.

Bradley is a box to box CM he can create chances and has the engine to run back to defend.
We dont have clear options for CDM besides Beckerman Cameron and maybe Danny Williams (has been out for a while so maybe not so clear?)
Other than that you have Morales, Trapp (who prob is another box to box CM) and Kitchen etc who will have to be groomed for 2018.
But the focus should be 2015 gold cup and 2016 copa america for now

I never said he sucks, but that he's not good enough. There's a difference. I also am the same guy when given the options pre World Cup, said he should start over Omar at CB. So it's not like I'm a hater. I'm saying if he's not good enough at his age, now he's going to improve? If he does, I will eat crow. Good on him for earning a spot at stoke. A few games does not make a season, or a career change. Also, for all the MLS cryers, how does playing Cameron help, considering he's not a young MLS player. I thought that's what the next World Cup cycle was for?? Don't back out or get scared now.

Still puzzled how the only CDM playing in the Prem isnt good enough to play CDM for the national team. Not saying he is a world beater either but he isnt a CB and he isnt a RB at the international game but he is another option at CDM which we dont have because nor Bradley or Mix arent CDMs.
Maybe if he didnt work at the system implemented but to be honest we have no system atm as JK is just throwing players and seeing what works. Not to mention Cameron is only played a CB because of his passing not because he is good at CB. Now we have good passion CB like Jones, Brooks, Besler and even Orozco who has looked solid.

The last two years people said he was our RB, because "he's the only RB we have playing at a high level". So, I'm not going to just jump off the bridge because others are. I agree with your assessment of the CB position jzaval.

I still would not put cameron at CM with the MNT seen what he can do and it ain't nothing special. I will still take beckerman over him, oh by the way how many assist did he have today ?? I'm tired if seeing a defensive minded team.

I was one of those people that said he should play RB given our situation at that time. But the games he played in that position he never showed what he showed at Stoke. Maybe its the different play style of Stoke but at CDM which he has gotten only a handful of appearance he has looked good except for that Costa Rica away match but then again Bradley going down affected the whole team.
My thinking is Beckerman isnt getting any younger and we needs options because of that reason and injuries. Cameron and Danny Williams are the ones with experience unless someone can step up like morales, kitchen. We need to see if Cameron is a good CDM for us and whatever system JK is going to play in the gold cup but we cant come to a conclusion until he plays there...

I vote Danny Williams vs the winner of the January camp battle and Cameron as a last resort. We all have our opinions. Geoff is a good, team player. I will leave it at that.

Yeah but to bad JK plays most players out of position and that trend will likely continue.

D-mids aren't meant to give assists, their job is to break up plays and spread the ball around. Unless of course he's Pirlo then yeah.
