did we relegate Besler and Gonzo?

I honestly think JAB is the best after Cameron, so those two paired?

What if we matriculate Miazga? I don't mean disrespect to the four countries we're playing

(relax i know it's two)

but can we maybe use these guys as a psuedo experiment, try a different CB pairing to see how Miazga JAB and Cameron Fit?

Jeez tall dudes, all good ball handlers with willingness to get hte pas son the ground who are decent athletically. Probably not as good as they should be aerially, it's whatever at this point

MOTM candidate performance today against Man Utd at CDM.
Has performed at a top level against City and Utd and Premier League as a whole when he is a CDM.

I wonder how well a Besler/Brooks pairing would look? Besler has played RCB more than enough times. That way Cameron can move to CDM. I prefer Cameron at CDM. Who is a better defending CM than either Bradley and Jones.

I think Bradley will remain as the #8. With Johnson and Nagbe at LM and RM respectively,

I agree he plays well at cdm. Since we always try weird things. Why not try a brooks/ream pairing find a new lb, I would be willing to give besler a go, out of posistioj yes but he is fast and can defend and put cameron at cdm.

Yedlin...ream......brooks...,,,besler

Cameron , bradley

?, nagbe, fj

Wood....morriss (aj, ja,) NO jozy shoot get dom dwyer a look in the future,

curious how your line up would look like with nagbe at RM. 2 strikers or 1 keeping in mind the form Bobby wood has shown.

I have advocated for the Brooks/Besler in the past and some people think a left footed player shouldn't play RCB, a dumb argument as right footed players go to LCB often. Brooks especially is good with both feet, he could easily handle it.

My lineup heading against Guatemala:

-------Altidore-------Wood------
Johnson----------Bradley------Nagbe--/
------------Cam-------------
Ream------/Brooks-----Besler-----/Lichaj
---------------Howard---------

Subs: Guzan, Hamid, Shea, Gonzo, Chandler, Jones, Williams, Mix, Zardes, Johannsson, Agudelo, Gyau

Wild card: Lletget if Gyau isn't ready.

I really hope lichaj gets called up. He is the only current RB playing week in and week out for his club at a decent level.

Might be to early for Gyau, but he is slated to be back full training and getting Dortmund 2 minutes after the mid season Bundesliga break.

U-23 note: I think Yedlin would be better served to play with the U23's. RB is a real problem with that team right now. They need to try to put the best team out for those two games.

I want Brooks to be with the U23s in March. That's not to say he isn't good enough for the MNT but those two games against Colombia are huge.

I kind of agree, but I think he will be with the full team.

johnson, Bradley, Nagbe, Cameron, Wood,

=D

Athleticism, with just enough skill... I just hope they try to find space and exploit an over zealous pressing defense with quick passing, all of them can do it, and have shown they can do so.

Ok, maybe Wood being the slouch of the bunch. But he has the most athleticism outside of Nagbe.

Watching the Everton/Stoke match. Cam just looks so comfortable in that position. Great positional sense, great passing, good feet. He's playing some really quality football right now.

I want to know, who taught him how to play

Then we clone that guy

if it was a process, we need to clone that process

He desires the ball, he wants to play the ball with technique, we need that

and he doesn't force himself into bad situations.

Hopefully we see Cam take Beckerman's place as our CDM. I've always been a big Jurgen supporter but my only gripe with him is all the players he plays out of position. Hopefully he doesn't view Cameron as a CB going forward unless it's an emergency.

Not that I disagree with you regarding JK and playing people out of position. But playing Cameron at CB would not be out of position.

Cameron can play RB, CB, CDM and none of them would he be out of position. He has played all 3 in the Premier League (highest level) and done all 3 well.

He plays Camrron in the places where others are deficient. Last World Cup, he chose to play beckerman over Omar for the most part and so Cam was CB. Maybe now there are more choices at CB than CDM, so he slides over there.
