What's everyone's take on this?

Taylor is now playing in the Portuguese top flight which is a good league. That being said, he's behind other forwards around his age.

US needs all the forward prospects it can get but Taylor isn't likely to get called up anytime soon.

Don't really have much of an opinion on this either way. If he feels like he will get PT with Panama then he should switch. I can't see him ever being a part of the USMNT. Not hard feelings if he does switch. It's his prerogative.

I doubt he jumps to Panama anytime soon. My guess is he will wait out the season, and if Klinsmann still hasn't brought him in then I could see him making the switch before the Gold Cup next summer.

He can play winger as well which is an area of concern for the USMNT. Not a big loss if he does decide to play for Panama.
