I thank you admsghs27 for bringing laughter to my day.

I suppose Beckham should have retired after http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vL_gEn9xyV8

I suppose Higuain should retire after yesterdays miss

Thank you Wondo for your dedication.

Wondo ain't no Beckham or higuain. Those guys can be forgiven because they have done so much for their teams. They helped them in so many ways. In the other hand wondolowski has hurt the mnt more than helped. Well at least that's the last we will ever see of him. By the way Beckham single handidly took England to the wc with his FK vs Greece. Wondo nothing special just hurting our team.

Let's see...I'll go out on a limb and say that missing a 1v1 with the keeper in the WC Final is a bit more problematic than missing a sitter in the Round of 16.

There's a reason were discussing this on the Boyd thread. Because he deserved to go over Wondo!!! I have no idea why some people Re defending him so Much. Honestly he did not deserve to be in the 30 man preliminary roster. Higuain was early in the game it could be let go. But in the 93rd minute no excuse there. And I have no.idea why someone put a dumb pk of Beckham in a qualifier like the 30 min is absolutely idiotic post.

We're not disagreeing that Boyd should've been there instead of Wondo. I've said that from when the 23 was released. We're upset about you absolutely shit-talking a man who doesn't deserve it. Your post about how he should cry, curl up in a ball and never open his eyes again is childish. Get a grip on reality, man. He didn't murder anyone. He didn't commit a felony. He missed a shot. In a soccer match. Get over yourself.

Curl up close his eyes is mostly a figure of speech. Is not directly intended as a malice comment. Yall should of seen the horrible comments posted about messi, it would make anyone cringe. Even maradana blasted him after hid subpar performances.

Blaming Wondo for the loss is just silly. They assulted our Goal all day long. It was not as bad a miss as everyone is making it out to be, I thought the keeper did well.

I told people Wondo would score. He didn't. Other people said Cameron can play CDM, he cant. Others said Bradley could play attacking mid and Dempsey could play striker. Or Bedoya, or a host of other people who werent quite good enough. Thats the journey. Let it go, we lost, onto the next one, where hopefully we have more better players.

Talking about Boyd getting better, the 2 Bundesliga and becoming the man on RB Leipzig offers him the chance to do just about everything on the soccer field. He needs the minutes and needs to have his teammates count on him like USMNT does Jozy Atltidore. Its one thing to play, another to have to be counted on every game. Boyd has his opportunity now.

Alright I know this wasn't your main point but I thought Cameron played very well at CDM against Belgium. Actually quite a few people had Cameron as round of 16 best 11 and who scored had Cameron as the CDM for their EPL team of the tournament. He also played well at DM against Jamaica and Panama.

Agreed, Cameron did play well. People just can't admit to the fact that Wondo blew it. As a striker, you have one job and thats to put the ball in the net. Not put it on goal, or simply get shots off, but to the ball in the back of the damn net. I got jumped on when i criticized Wondo for his point blank miss against Azerbaijan, so i can't say I'm surprised. I never thought Wondo should of been anywhere near this team. I kept my fingers crossed he would prove me wrong, but it was the same ol' Wondo.

Wondo's two point miss blanks against Azerbaijan!! I was stuck in traffic going to that game and didnt get in until halftime. I'm going to re-watch the highlights and get even more pissed off !!!!

Actually Cameron played quite well at DM against Belgium. He shut down Fellaini which was the job he was given, and started quite a few passing sequences for the USMNT. Personally I would like to see more of Cameron at DM for the USMNT going into this WC cycle.

You weren't jumped on, man, we just disagreed. You ended up being right, and for the record I never wanted Wondo there over anyone else, I just thought he was a better finisher than people gave him credit for. He couldn't do it on that stage; full of dat crow.

I've always liked Cameron at Dmid and have argued for him there on several occassions, especially when the Bradley Jones combo wasn't working out. Seeing as we have solid CB's and Rb's now I'd say he get more looks. Especially with an aging Beckerman and Jones, his chances only get better going forward.

See. People are still telling you this, so its really just how do we get a player (in Boyd's case) to be able to be a complete player. Turnovers playing higher than Jermaine Jones used to within the first minute against Belgium that should have been a goal if not for a great Howard save does not equal a good DM. He was serviceable at CB against Gyan, but moving forward how can we not say Bradley is the one to jump back to the holding mid spot alongside people like Danny Williams?

-- For the record I haven't seen enough of Boyd to say he can or should take Jozy's spot at forward, but it would be nice if he could.
