Boyd comes on in the 2nd half and makes an immediate impact, scoring Leipzig's first goal.

My grandmother > Wondo.

I used to say Wondo was deadly from the 6 yard box, but I guess we can't say that now after the WC. Maybe he's deadly from 2 yards out.

Dint I say that before. Wondo should curl up in a ball and cry and never open his eyes again. I always said Boyd should of gotten more playing time, I even think he has the potential to take jozys spot.

Jesus christ, people. He missed a sitter that would've advanced us to the QF's. Know what he didn't do? Murder your parents. Calm down with the hyperbole ("curl up in a ball and cry and never open his eyes again.") Get over it.

On the human level, I feel gutted for Wondo. It's obvious from his tweets that this is eating him up inside. You could witness the emotion on his face after his goal against DC United what this sport means to him.

Unfortunately for him, he will always be remembered for what might have been against Belgium but he seems like a good guy who genuinely gives his all to this sport.

Wondo should of retired right after the game. I bet he felt like killing himself after that missed. Who knows usa might of been in the Final had we advanced Argentina is beateble and has not looked great. And Holland well Mexico had them on the ropes and if it wasn't for the ref Costa Rica would of beat them on that missed pk call on Campbell. And in the final anything is possible. Thank you wondo for ruining 4 years of hard work in a second. And that's the only reason they brought him to the wc to POACH and he failed in that. For me and most usa soccer gave it goes as the #1 Blunder in us soccer History!!! And for those saying offside was called it wasn't until after the miss he was waving as goal kick. Had it gone in it would of count it.

Boyd over wondo Forever.

...and the US could have won the World Cup in 2006 if it weren't for a BS penalty on Gooch against Ghana and Reyna tripping over the ball. We would have been second in the Group and would have only needed to knock out Brazil, France and Portugal before getting our rematch against Italy in what was one of the greatest US matches of all time!

It's fun to live in complete hypotheticals!

It was a Buckner. As a non-Red Sox fan I think the Buckner endeared himself to many millions (including me). You got feel for the guy.

I thank you admsghs27 for bringing laughter to my day.

I suppose Beckham should have retired after http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vL_gEn9xyV8

I suppose Higuain should retire after yesterdays miss

Thank you Wondo for your dedication.
