Here is how the top 25 will fill out later this week.

1 - Germany
2 - Argentina
3 - Netherlands
4 - Colombia
5 - Belgium
6 - Uruguay
7 - Spain
8 - Brazil
9 - Switzerland
10 - France
11 - Portugal
12 - Chile
13 - Greece
14 - Italy
15 - USA
16 - Croatia
17 - Costa Rica
18 - Mexico
19 - Bosnia
20 - England
21 - Ecuador
22 - Russia
23 - Algeria
24 - Ivory Coast
25 - Denmark

It does not go exactly by order of FIFA world Cup finish. They still use their rankings formula, however the World Cup is very heavily weighted.

FYI if we had not allowed that goal against Portugal at the end we would be 14th. Further if Wondo had scored against Belgium and we lose to Argentina we would be 11th.

1 world cup team filled with Bundesliga players over la liga real Madrid.

1 world cup over 1000 champions leagues. Ayyyyyy. Anyone would agree.

Hmmm. For a team chock full of Budesliga players, only 61% of their goals were scored by Bundesliga players. In fact less than half of their goalscorers (only three of seven) play in the Bundesliga.

I think Costa Rica will be in the top 12 in the world when the rankings come out.

Wrong Currently Costa Rica is over usa. It doesn't matter what you do in qualifying is what you do in the WC. Heck would not be surprised if Mexico jumps usa in the next rankings because they had 2 wins. Portugal was bad Uruguay would of beaten them. Costa Rica did much better than usa in the wc specially performance wise.

You have to look at the competition, we would have made it to the 8 had we played Greece. I think Costa Rica are good but have not yet proven to be as good or better than the US.

FYI the above rankings are not my opinion. But the FACT of what they will be (unless Fifa does not go by their formula).

When discussing FIFA rankings, you should always start with "FWIW, ..."

Remember when the US was ranked 4th not so long ago? Man, those were good times.

Manchester United and Adidas have agreed upon a 750 million pound(1.28 billion dollars)deal for 10 years.

That's ridiculous money going to Manchester United.

Adidas and "MLS" have an 8 year deal only worth around 200 million dollars.

I wonder if Nike will try to become MLS's official sponsor after the Adidas deal is up?

The current NBA deal is also Adidas and totals $400mil for the league over 11 years.
