Wow Mexico named their 23 man squad already.

Not too surprised that they did, though. Herrera has his guys, so it probably wasn't too arduous of a process selecting who he wanted.

Dude I am so excited. I have been a Star Wars fanboy since I was 10 years old.

Hope springs eternal. I don't know how far we go, but fwiw I do believe that the boys will leave Brazil with even more respect than they came with.

Nigeria Honduras and Brazil all did on Monday or Tuesday. Germany announced their 30 man roster. My guess is most teams already have except USA since we like to make it super ultra secret to piss everyone off

I predict the US gets ≤3 pts and doesn't advance from their group. JK's glad he already has his contract extension. Germany and Portugal make it through before Brazil wins it all at home. But I'm probably wrong.

I will stick with ≤4. I feel Portugal is our easiest Opponent in the group. Also won't be surprised if Ghana advances past the group stage.

But Mark my words if USA gets out of the group i feel a deep run coming maybe even semis or beyond. Just Imagine the huge amount of confident they will gain if they get out of the group. They will think if we got out of this group Come on we got as tough if not easier opponents ahead, a huge load will come off their shoulders.

I had a dream the other night that the US beat Ghana 1-0. Thierry Henry scored the game winner for us whilst I yelled at the TV "I thought he was cap tied!"

Have you seen the odds to win the World Cup? Costa Rica and Honduras rank dead last at 4000/1 odds. That's vastly underrating Costa Rica. They're a solid team, second best in CONCACAF both in qualifying and in talent. They have a tough group but they could be a surprise team and escape. Uruguay has huge question marks over Suarez and struggled in qualification, England is England and Italy failed to get out of a weak group in 2010 although I think they'll do well in Brazil.

If they had a watered down version of Costa Rica's odds to get out of the Group rather than win the Cup, I think I'd take the bet.

The US ranks 24th with 250/1 odds to win the tournament. Mexico ranks highest in CONCACAF at 150/1 odds
