Hey I have to agree with Lennon on this, it does show a big lack of respect. To call a player at the very last minute to only play one min.. Take a step back and really look at it.. yeah it does to the club and Ream..

I disagree. Yes in this case he played one minute but he should have known he was being brought in as injury insurance. No one got injured, he wasnt needed. If hes not ok with that he should say no and kiss any other chances with JK goodbye. Look how many guys in MLB get called up from the minors at say 3PM, sit the bench for the game and at 11PM are sent back to AAA. They dont complain. Or in NFL how many practice squad players are called up and released after sunday after playing less than 5 snaps if they even dress.

He should consider it an honor to get the chance to represent USA. If he doesnt then see you later. He's playing for a 2nd division team, its not like he's starting for Chelsea here.

USMNT has treated Tim like crap for years now. Yeah lets put Jermaine Jones in at CM when we have a seasoned vet like Ream already playing that position. Pure Crap. I feel you my Celtic brotha. NO respect

Can't fault Lennon for the rant...his team are in a relegation fight and any disruption to preparations is potentially damaging.

Was it disrespectful...yes, but only because of the shambolic defense that occurred in the 89 minutes prior to his entry into the game. Being the last player called in he can't have had much expectation going into the match but given what happened during the match, he deserved more time than he was given how poorly everyone else at his position played.

Nonsense.. Arguing for the sake of arguing smh.

You don't know if those players complain of not, just because they get media converged. You can tell Ream defiantly does consider it a honor to get called up.. Because Jurgen handled it the wrong way and it was disrespectful.

I don't disagree with you. But you can't possibly mean "defiantly".

"Definitely"?

Again how did Jurgen handle it wrong? Ream is like the 6th or 7th option back there. His expectations shouldnt have been to join camp last second and go 90. Do you want Jurgen to call in college kids? Players whose seasons are over? This is what happens in international soccer. At most 17 guys play and 6-8 come to camp, train, and dont play a minute. How is what he did to Ream any different?

And dont give me crap about being in a relegation fight. Relegation fights dont start until March. They arent even at the midway point of the season. And also its not like they asked him to fly from England to South Africa. he probably took a train or bus. Again where's the harm to Ream?

I'd agree with that but I'm pretty sure you can't take a train or bus from Bolton to Dublin. You must not be a traveller, waiting twice for airport security can be a hassle in itself, especially in Europe. And Jurgen has that reputation, we've seen it with Bocanegra and donovan. Ream is just a pebble compared to those two. It was a bogus call up however.
