Good stuff for Akale. US needs more kids in Spain. The Yellow Submarine will take care of him.

I saw that goal by Saucedo in that tournament. RSL better lock up him up.

Akale scored a beautiful lone solo effort for Villarreal's U-18 team against Southhamptons U-18 team yesterday. You can check out the goal at

Kid has a ton of talent, but I do worry that his size will hamper him in the future. Maybe he should take some HGH. I am sure he could get approved for it from the doctor. Dude is small. barely 5'5", and looks about 110 pounds at most. But he does have a ton of skill and quickness.

Update on Kwelle Akale. He Has been in really good form for Villarreal B this season. Has three goals and one their type performing players. Would really like to see this kid finally make that jump to the senior team for Villarreal. And would be a huge boost for the USMNT. Very talented. Can play on both wings and underneath a main striker.

He just needs a chance. Akale (more than most) looked the part at a younger age for that #10 role, and it seemed like Villarreal was a good fit- maybe it still will be- but minutes have been few and far between. Akale, Zelalem, and Soņora have all not made their breakthroughs for one reason or another (count Hyndman as well) and so we wait for someone with actual class to hold down that position. Until then we will see the McKennies and Acosta pushed too far forward or Pulisic brought in from the wing. Come Akale make that position yours. He still 21 but needs to be playing every game at a pro level to show what he has.

Akale has been training with Villarreal first team. Has been in really good form for their reserve team this year. This is very good news for the USMNT.

Another player US Soccer would be scared to call up. He's not in MLS and won't pass backwards
