It does not, told you that, it's one of the downfalls.

Thanks Gator.

Well that sucks. Gotta wonder what the thinking behind that move is.

I don't think there is. Probably didn't think it was needed but now they gotten a lot of posters over the last year and a half. It would be a good idea.

There are too many sub-forums for it not to have a search feature. They need to either combine a bunch of these sub-forums or add a search feature. It's impossible to find threads. Being able to see a list of your own posts would be great, too. I doubt it'll happen though. Usually forums use a pre-made template found elsewhere...they don't program their own. So it won't change until they go for a different template. I like the one they have because of its simplicity. They just need to cut down on the number of sub-forums so it's easier to find stuff.

True therefore we start new similar threads creating more and making it more difficult to find. Last time it took me 20 minutes to find a thread. this site seriously needs a search feature.

I agree!

We could also use a moderator to merge similar threads or shift unrelated content. For example half the World Cup Injury thread is a debate about how committed Chandler is to the MNT. Surely that debate could be moved to one of the many Chandler threads.

I'm ok with a search function, but I'm not sure how much we need a moderator. I agree that hardly any of the threads stick solely with their subject-line topic, but you're talking about someone reading every post in every thread and then adjudicating according to their own opinion and bias.

I'm not entirely opposed to the idea of the forum being moderated, but I would say that the need for it is still quite miniscule compared to most other places I've seen.

Yeah, even though stuff gets heated it typically never crosses the line outside of just...incredibly disagreeable people.

It's a cordial troll free site...no need for a moderator...let the inmates run the asylum.

I wouldn't turn down a search function.
