Here is the roster:

GK: McIntosch, kempin

Defense: Serna, Ocegueda, O'Niell, Dean, Sorto

Cm's: Gil, Martin, Hairston, Guido, Trapp, Joya

Attackers: Stevie Rodriguez, Garcia, Cuevas, McBean, Morris, Okoli, Villarreal, Pineda

One thing is for certain: With amount of talent not able to come, and the up coming U-20 players, the U-23 Olympic qualifying team will probably look ten times better than this current camp.

Good to see Dean called up, who I thought was unjustly left out of the U-20 team last year.

Oh and Ramos is the Coach. Don't know if it will stay Ramos for the Olympic cycle, but for right now the Coach is Ramos.

O'Neill is in which is good.

The midfield is a strength. I think Klinsmann knows Gil and Yedlin are big time for 2018. But he already knows what he has with Yedlin but not Gil.

Great time to see all the Liga MX players.

I think it's likely that Yedlin will be apart of the US WC camp while Gil won't be.

Agreed. So much midfield depth. Yedlin brings something different which isnt a slight to Gil. I think he'll be at the camp right after the WC.

Not only Dean. Players like Morris, Guido, Hairston were all unjustly left out. Morris is the most biggest snub of them all. Anyways good to see him and a few others back with the national team. Dennis Flores has been called back to Leon cuz of the amount of games they will be playing.

Speaking of Omar, has anyone been following his season with the Battery?

Victor Pineda has looked very good in the preseason and reserve games so far for the Chicago Fire. To me he looks fully recovered from his knee injury of a few years ago, when before he had been called the best player in the pool in the run up to Turkey, then the injury. Now a lot of that was hype, but what I can say is he has been running and cutting very smoothly and his atleticism has returned, at least from my amateur eye.

He played in the first match and had an assist. Unfortunately he has been hurt since and is just now 100 percent healthy.

FT: U.S. U21 MNT 2-1 Club Tijuana. Benji Joya with both goals.

Moreno scored for Tijuana. Arriola did well.

3 Americans on the board. Was obvious when tj was the opponent. I bet 80% of their roster contained American players.

Conor O'Brien could finally make his Austrian debut for Wiener Neustadt on Saturday.
