Who are the players/young players you all are looking most forward to see potentially break into the USMNT during the 2018 WC cycle? Here is a list I compiled from GK to FWD:

GK: Bill Hamid, Sean John, Clark, Irwin, Cropper, MacMath

Defense: Yedlin, Chandler, Klute, Garza, Brooks, Hedges, Ream, EPB, Zimmerman, Packwood, Farrell, Acosta, Moore, Ocegueda, Miller, Turner, Redding, Miazga

CM's: Powers, Kitchen, Morales, Stanko, Trapp, Joya, Gil, Luis Felipe, Sonora, Lickert, Delgado, Jacobson, Pelosi

Attackers: Zardes, Holmes, Junior Flores, Rubio Rubin, Ben Spencer, Novakovich, Salgado, Yomba, Koroma, Nagbe, Gooch, Arriola, Pfeffer, Julian Green, Shipp, Pineda, Parker, Gyau, Wood, Haji Wright, Allen( I rate him as an attacking wide player not as a fullback)

Good call on Hyndman.

Still to many variables yet for young Fagundez. He won't get his citizenship until what 2018 the same year the WC happens. Not only that Uruguay is very interested in him as well.

Yeah guess its more of a hope thing. I know he wants to play for the US but it justs mainly a time thing. You could replace him with Gallardo.

I'd have Packwood in my top 5:

Caveat: list only includes citizens. Fagundez and Zelalem would both be top 5 if/when citizenship status changes.

1. Julian Green
2. Deandre Yedlin
3. EPB
4. Will Packwood
5. Shaq Moore
6. Junior Flores
7. Darlington Nagbe
8. Emerson Hyndman
9. John Brooks
10. Wil Trapp
11. Lynden Gooch
12. Kellyn Acosta

Shaq Moore is reportedly receiving interest from Valencia and Barca:

I had Brooks higher than him. Better league, more starting experience and a much higher ceiling. I think Packwood could be ahead of Shane O'Neill though.

I'm not sure why omitted Luis Gil. He's only 20 and certainly will be in the conversation for the 2018 cycle.

Can't believe people are still sleeping on Serna if you've watched this guy on the Rapids you'll see the David Silva-esque style of play he has, very good young player. Keep tabs on him for Colorado guys. Kelyn Rowe too he'll offer more than Zusi does trust me. And other guys to a lesser extent... Fernandes, Dennis Flores, McNamara, Gall, Garcia, Thompson, Guido, Moreno, Lopez, M. Rodriguez and Okoli. All guys that have potential to be stars for their clubs and thus have a good chance to feature on the NT or at least Olympic team if eligible which can be a platform for players not already featured on the full team to catapult them to that level. Make sure you guys keep an eye on these players.. They are quality prospects.

Also other guys who I'm still on the fence about if theyll make it Stevie Rodriguez, Alonso Hernandez, Cuevas, Villarreal, Salazar, Martin..

I am most excited by Gil, especially by his performance in the U20 WC. Seemed the most composed player on the pitch for us.

For me I am most excited about:

Gk: Irwin

Defense: Hedges, Yedlin, Moore, EPB, Brooks, and Miazga

CM's: Trapp, Gil, Luis Felipe, Hyndman, Pelosi, Sonora( One hell of a playmaker, who is making waves to be starting for Boca Juniors soon)

Attackers: Nagbe, Arriola, Gall, Gooch, Green, Novakovich, Rubin, Haji Wright, and Spencer.

Players on the bubble about who I am excited about:

Flores, Clark, Parker, Yomba, Stanko, Holmes, Zardes, Joya, Chandler, Sean John, Packwood, Zimmerman.

I'm excited to see the ever increasing amount of depth we have going forward. We knew it was coming, but to see the options we have now makes me giddy. Especially in the attack... practically having half a dozen extremely talented players fighting it out per position is incredible. Gone are the days of having to resort to bringing guys like Findley or Buddle to a WC.

I'm most excited about Pelosi...

Julian Green, Hells yeah
Zelalem, a wild card
Toljan, not really
ariyibi, nothing special about this guy moving on
Gyasi Zardes, has potential but needs to work on his finishing
Shawn Parker, no interest in the USA so no thanks plus we have better players than him.
