Rubin-Wood-Morris is hopefully, health depending our starting frontline come the Hex. Those guys will play great off each other. Overlapping runs. Complimenting skill set. Then can have Pulisic and Nagbe play the middle as the creative guys with bradley (or Morales, DWill, Kitchen) as the CDM.

What about a Nagbe-Bradley-Hyndman midfield? That allows Pulisic to potentially play LM with someone like Fabian at RM.

That would be a good problem to have. Hyndman could push Bradley out of the starting XI, or he could push Pulisic out wide. Injuries and form usually settle these things for us as whens the last time we had those 7 players all healthy and available? It also assumes Rubin gets back on track.

Theres probably a good change we see Hyndman ready before Rubin and then we can go from there

We are still a ways away from from having a starting strike partnership of
Rubin-Wood-Morris or a midfield trio of Nagbe-Bradley-Pulisic/Hyndman.
Wood & Bradley are experienced full time starters, Nagbe & Pulisic maybe close to being periodic starters/prime subs but they still need time to become accustom to Sr. International play. Rubin, Morris, & Hyndman, however, still need a lot of development before they are ready for anything more than periodic substitutions. They likely won't ready for another year or two of consistent club performances. They may have great potential, but they seriously lack the experience needed to be considered starters for the national team.

They all need development, Pulisic included. But if they're getting professional starts while doing it, hell yea!

Hyndman's manager was talking him up and it doesn't sound like he' sgoing to be in the reserves/ or even on just hte practice squad, sounds like he's going to be first team, whether or not he plays in the 18 or starts is another matter... but if he does...

That's certainly a front three I could live with. The Hex (at least the earlier games) may be too soon, but Manneh is another name to keep in mind for the front line if he can prove successful once he gains US citizenship.

I don't see that happening. Both Wood and Morris are better central strikers than outside FWDS.

I actually don't think Pulisic needs any development. Sure, everyone needs development, but he's there. Big exception, of course is physical development. Anyone know what his dad looks like? Or is he done growing?

To say a 17 year old does not need development is putting a GOAT tag on the kid world wide. From what I have seen while confident on the pitch he needs that arrogance of I do not care who you are I am going to blow by you. He has shown that but not from a consistent week in week out basis. He also will need to develop from a leadership viewpoint. He has Duece and Howard there to help him that, but he is going to need that development.

To say a 17 year old who has played less than 10 Bundesliga games, which is amazing for him, and come of the bench with nothing to lose for the USMNT does not say no development is needed besides body.

He doesn't need basic training development "The Truth". I'd take him now as a starter. That's a tribute to him and also a slight dig at our talent depth.

But he can be tidier on the ball...

which is crazy because he already reigns in touches with ease

he doesn't need anything with regards to work rate, the dude HUSTLES... seriously what do we not get when he comes on that we would get from Zardes, Wood etc?

He probably needs to score more, and become an outside threat like Landon, our team needs goals from everywhere, unless Dempsey plays like he drank from the fountain of youth until he's 41. and scores .5 goals a game.

Rubio Rubin, for me, has always shown good instincts (if people remember his Bob Wood style debut, where he looked awesome mentally but didn't score an easy-ish goal; people then hated and said Rubin was crap) on the field, it's his body that's worrisome. He still has time, especially if his season at FC Utrecht goes the way we all hope. Jürgen would not hesitate to call Rubin back up if his health says it's ok, but we wait for that. I am still in favor of his move to Utrecht and he will gain admirers this year as he scores and assists. Breakout year 2016/17 for Rubin is my prediction.

Rubin has transferred from Utrecht to Silkeborg in the Danish aSuperliga. Hopefully he can become a firstvteam regular. Really dropped off with Utrecht the past two seasons.

Yeah he started off alright but he just wasnt at the level to be a regular starter. Plus injuries kept coming up at the worst times. Hopefully he stays healthy because he has a lot of potential. Its a good move hopefully he can start and get some confidence going.

Rest of this year and next year will be huge. He needs to put up monster numbers to even get a look from 2/bundes teams. Has to have 15+ goals next year to be a realistic transfer option in summer 2018.

I hate to be the harbinger of bad news, ladies and gentlemen, but Michael Orozco will start for the US men's national team in Jacksonville.
