So his career route is Holland to Denmark to Norway, yikes. Wish him the best.

At what point is it better just to come home and hand your resume to the Timbers?

He's from Oregon no?

Little known fact, Oregon translates to "big eared dude" in spanish.

The thing with Rubin is the talent is still there. Its his confidence and maybe his effort. If he stays in Europe and has a good 6mo-1yr stretch. He'll shoot right back up to Championship, low level EPL, Eredivisie. If he comes back to MLS he's never going back to Europe.

Liked what I saw of Rubio in terms of how he read the game, but yeah he's not where I thought he would be right now. Injuries definitely played a part, but he has time to right the ship, he's still just 21. He's not the same type of player exactly but I agree with MSantoine that if he comes back to the U.S. he might end up like Agudelo, where his ceiling becomes good MLS player, fringe national team guy.

Rubio Rubin has signed with Tijuana. I think this is a great move for him.

From Ives "Rubin was in talks with #MLS for some time, but I'm told the league tried to lowball him on his salary, opening the door for Club Tijuana to scoop him up."

Very good move if he is able to get minutes.
