I hope they don't get river plate because in all honesty they got robbed. River should of won or at least gotten a tie vs USA.

It was a 50/50 game.

My guess the US will line up against Fluminense. From what I saw of FLuminense they're a very beatable team, they were extremely lucky to beat La Galaxy by 2 goals to nil. Galaxy had numerous opportunities go begging in that game..

Coritiba V River.

If the usa can win the whole tourney, not only will it give the guys confidence going forward. It would also allow our players to play more games with each other, which is extremely important.

I just want to point out that I have never seen the US boys youth team program from U-15 to U-20 this stacked full of talent.

Bright future for US soccer.

Couldn't agree more, wouldn't be surprised if we made it to the semi or finals of the u17 & u20 WC's coming up.

and I think there is unlimited subs..

If only this was streamed...

US Soccer dropped the ball on that. The Nike friendlies really peaked my interest.

Hey Dallas Cup here's some money let us stream the US u20 games!!!

But glad they won all three games. This team is seriously budding with talent. It's night and day compared to last years team.

So who does everyone think comprises our best 11 from this group

Steffen
Moore
EPB
Miazga
Acosta
Gall
Gooch
Luis Felipe
Arriola
Rubin
Spencer/Pfeffer

Also, is Julian Green eligible for participation in the U20 WC next summer? Even if he is, is it unlikely he'd participate since he very well may be on the plane with the big boys this summer?

Horvath/Steffen
Moore-EPB-Miazga-Acosta-
Arriola/Gooch-Hyndman-Canouse-Rubio/Green
--Spencer-Gall/Flores-

And yes Green is eligible, should be on this team at some point.

I'm hearing good things about Miazga.

Miazga and EPB could be one of the most talented CB pairings the U20 team has ever had.

Hope we can get all these players called in at the same time in the future...

It's going to be hard to get some of the European based players for the Qualifying tournament. Especially players like Gall, Hyndman, Flores, Rubin, Gooch, Novakovich, Horvath, possibly Spencer, and Boca Juniors playmaker Sonora who all could be in their respective Clubs first team plans next year.

And I personally think Green won't be apart of the U-20's. More than likely he will be a full USMNT player, and by next summer playing in the Gold Cup instead of the U-20 WC.

If I had to guess a projection then I would say that the Qualifying 20 man roster will look like this:

GK: Castano, Steffen

Defense: Moore, Acosta, Requejo, Miazga, EPB, Haberkorn, Redding

CM's: Delgado, Luis Felipe, Cannouse, Lickert, Roldan

Attackers: Moreno, Pfeffer, Arriola, Benji Lopez, Allen, Spencer(Depending on his status with Molde)

Wild Card: Yomba

I have heard that Shaq Moore has serious interest from both Valencia and Barcelona. Can anyone validate that?
