Ramos has named a 21 player roster here it is:

GK: Castano, Steffen

Defense: Allen, Moore, Requejo Jr. Vasquez, Amick, Dainkeh, Palmer-Brown, Miazga, Haberkorn

Midfield: Acosta, Delgado, Luis Felipe, Gall, Gooch

FWDS: Rubin, Spencer, Lopez, Moreno, Pfeffer

Surprised Acosta is listed as a midfielder considering he is a RB. Also Allen continues to be listed as a defender when he is an attacking wide player.

To bad Arriola wasn't released for this tournament.

EPL U21s end at the end of this month then they have the 4 team playoff...most of the teams have been eliminated with the chance for the playoffs so they might be fine releasing players. Not sure about the rest of the leagues.

Junior Flores ? probably is committed with Dortmund. Arriola ? maybe Decided to stay with xolos, even green is eligible but is injured. Can't believe Tommy Redding didn't get called maybe his injured or something. what about Novakovich maybe busy since he just signed with Reading, the same with the guy that signed with Athletico Madrid. The dallas cup is gonna have so very tough Competition, lets see how this team does. Anyone know USA's group yet ?

Group C
US Under 20 National Team
River Plate, Argentina
Tigres, Mexico
Eintracht Frankfurt, Germany

Looks like a good group, good diversity in playing styles.

Tommy is injured, that's why he dropped out of the u18s camp. He wasn't going to get called to the u20s anyway.

Andrija and Yomba should get looks in the future after they establish themselves, hopefully.

Flores, Canouse, Sorona, Arriola all busy...Emerson is with Fulham in this Tournament.

Dallas Cup is very prestigious, a lot of scouts all over the world attend this tournament, so some of these guys may be able to parlay any success at this tournament to potential trials in Europe, Mexico, South America , and possibly MLS teams for the ones who are not attached to an already existing MLS team.

Its gonna be tough. They're gonna be playing kids who've played with each other every hour of every day. But that's the great thing about the US youth teams. They challenge themselves against great opponents.

Glad Acosta got his rightful callup, but who's putting him in the midfield? I don't think it's a bad idea with his ability and propensity to get forward, but he's a decent enough defender for his age to lock up the starting RB spot, right?

Look forward to seeing him play Sunday! Don't think he will start tho, considering he isn't going to train with them before..
