I hear ya.....just don't want to shortchange him because he plays simple. He's capable but the Hispanics are allowed to express themselves through all age groups unlike Americans. There's positives and negatives to both.

Isn't pelosi Latino descend or Italian I think, I know he is born in Germany tho. Anyways our up coming talent are Hispanics/latinos and recent African descend. And euro/American duals. Which is good to have a mix of players.

No, he's mom is German. His dad might be of Italian descent.

Anybody have any current news on Pelosi? I went to the Liverpool sites and it looks like he hasn't made the bench for the U21s for 3-4 games...injury, competition or loss of form?

Others playing well and him not playing competitively for over a year. He'll get back into it, just takes time.

Just signed with the Earthquakes. Hopefully he stays healthy so we can really see what he's made of. He also needs to stay healthy.

Awesome news. I was getting a little nervous they wouldn't get the deal done.

Awesome. It will be interesting to see where Pelosi lines up. I am guessing at LM.

Hell yes!

can you name a team with more promise than liverpool, Suarez will be there, 4 to 5 years, if no other team like real or barca come in and blow him away with an offer

sturridge and sterling will be older more experienced and more lethal

Gerrard is actually slowly being phased out, he's been changed from no. 8 to CDM, to great effect I might add, he's been superb, but this is clearly a sign of a change in guard

Lucas won't be there forever, for much longer

Joe Allen is a great talent with his specific skill set, complementary to Pelosi...

I mean even if Pelosi gets relegated to left back, it's STILL promissing for him since flanagan is a natural right back, and glen johnson is getting on with age...

just positives all around, then again if liverpool ascend at an even sillier rate, then pelosi might be marginalized, but seeing how they need a full deep squad for champions league in coming seasons, my money is on him getting minutes and opportunities to prove his worth.

Don't worry. There is another talented American player in the Liverpool system: Brooks Lennon. Talented winger/ FWD.

I hate to be the harbinger of bad news, ladies and gentlemen, but Michael Orozco will start for the US men's national team in Jacksonville.
