I must say that last week's game vs Chicago was my first Portland watch of the year, and I was not really impressed besides your boy Nagbe and a little Will Johnson action. The rest were more interested in diving and flopping around, although they did succeed in getting Palmer suspended for today's game v NY.

To be honest, I thought more of the combination play of Rosales, Torres and what Chivas USA had to offer in our first game, at least going forward.

Although I will say, Nagbe is an absolute monster with the ball. Reminded me on first look of Yaya Toure.

Well this is just a test for Porter. Teams now are more aware on how to approach and possible counter his team. It will show how good a coach he is really now is the real test for him

I'm watching the kansas jayhawks vs Stanford basketball game and heard the announcer 1 player from Kansas is not with the team because he is currently with the Vancouver whitecaps. Anyone know who he is ?

Nope.

But Christian Dean(who was drafted by the Whitecaps) is the brother of Stanford player Josh Huestis.

Joya and Shipp both starting again today for Chicago.

During the U-20 World Cup I liked Benji's athleticism and play in the midfield, especially in front of the back four.

What has surprised me is his ability to really make great runs in and behind. Also has a nice cross and shot on him.

Eric Miller looks really composed on the ball. Really dig his style of play.

I love the service from Shipp. His corners have been excellent and what a cross he played in today.
