There are a lot of good games this weekend. RSL vs LA will be on NBC Sports but the most interesting game will likely be Portland at Colorado. They are predicting 2-4 inches of snow in Denver tomorrow evening. Too bad Cameron won't be there to help shovel.

Saturday
NE vs Vancouver
RSL vs LA
Toronto vs DC
Columbus vs Philly
Colorado vs Portland
SKC vs San Jose
FCD vs Chivas USA

Sunday
Chicago vs NYRB
Montreal vs Seattle

Dempsey has been suspended for this week and next week for his crotch shot.

SKC- SJ should be good. Who fares better after CCL despair?

Beautiful ball over the top from Bradley to Gilberto who can't finish but falls to Defoe for the goal. 1-0 Toronto.

Bradley and Defoe. Leiweke struck gold.

Bradley was great again.

EJ might not get as much service as he'd like.

The LA-RSL game got boring

Bradley is clearly the best American player playing domestically or abroad. That ball over the top was sublime. He is not only the most important player for the USMNT, but the best as well.

He is the new Captain America in my mind.

And man did anyone else see how Donovan was just walking around for the most part against RSL? He clearly has lost a spark.

really disapointing to see my revs not be able to score at the home opener. the fort was electric, and it was probably the best soccer day in new england all month, beautiful weather. However everytime we had a chance to break bunbury would hold up and then slow it down. now im all for the hold up play, but the way we played was to disjointed. we had some good chances and could have scored some goals, but 17 shots and only 3 on target is piss poor

I'm watching the Crew and Union game on MLS Live. There are some kids trolling around; they're making moaning noises and groaning and you can faintly hear it along with the broadcast.

Yup, thought someone was watching porn in the broadcast booth for a second. I think some kids realized they were sitting close to a mic, lol.

Gilberto looks like a great signing. Defoe is going to score in buckets this year especially with brilliant passes from Gilberto and Bradley coming his way. Hamid had a big day. Toronto should have blown that game open had it not been for Bill. I wish he was more consistent in goal.

Did anyone see that rocket of a goal by Anor for Columbus? My goodness.

Matt Hedges is doing quite well early in the season. I think he gradually becomes one of the best CBs in the league.

Matt Hedges is my darkhorse as a starting CB for the USMNT in the 2018 WC. Dude is highly underrated IMO. Good speed, excellent in the air, comfortable in possession, and usually reads the game really well, and has a high footballing I.Q. Also his 1V1 defending is getting much better as well. He has gone from strength to strength, not to mention he is already the Captain for Dallas at age 23. I highly expect Klinsmann to start seriously looking at him after the WC.

For me he should be in that first 23 in September for the start of the 2018 WC cycle.
