He will be apart of the first team next year, but not as a starter.

I think by mid season he will be a starter.

Just like Julian green right.

No green is in Bayern if he was at freigburg he would have of gotten significant playing time most likely start.

No Julian would not be starting each game even for Freiburg. It's NOT EASY for a soccer player to start for a pro club at such a young age in a "good" league.

Green's path to first team soccer with Bayern this upcoming season could be a bit more clear. Reports are that Manchester United are looking to not only buy Toni Kroos, but Arjen Robben as well.

Wheer do people think Stanko lines up? He primaliy is a CDM right? He's also gotten CB minutes. Nowadays a lot of CDM's moonlight as CB's and vice versa (Edu and Cameron for example). Selfishly I hope he settles into a CB as thats our biggest need and lightest pipeline.

Doubtful. With this new FIFA fair play crap. Man U wants Shaw also. They can't have all 3. Or even 2. Especially with no Euro League or Champs League money coming in.

And Liverpool wants Shaqiri. Even better for Green.

I'm not so sure...I'd imagine that they are clearing out a lot of salary wages by losing Vidic, Evra and (to a smaller degree) Giggs, and those are just the ones that we know for a fact are leaving. Sell a few more players and promote a few from the academy and I can see a path to making those signings feasible.

Of course, this is without knowing anything about the specific situation and the projected wages of the three players in question.

Caleb Stanko also starting for Freiburg today. Holmes, Gyau, & Stanko could all be players making the jump to the senior team soon.

Stanko is a favorite of mine. Glad Freiburg is giving him a chance to shine

Caleb has been playing with 1st team for preseason, along with Steffen. Freiburg haven't been that busy in transfer window this summer. Hopefully he gets significant PT this season

That would be awesome if both were 1st team regulars. Do well at Freiburg for two seasons and you'll be in the bundlesliga in 2017

Caleb got his first start of the season for Frieburg today at DM.

Played well.

Could be a big boost for him and our Olympic team. I rate Stanko higher than both Polster and Alashe.

The German regular season is finished, however a pair of American players still have work to do in the promotion/relegation playoffs.
