Seattle didn't deserve to lose, but good on Toronto for making it hard on Seattle.

Dempsey's nut shot is whatever. Both teams were dishing out cheap shots.

Thought both Bradley and Dempsey looked good. Defoe is a sniper that's what he does, and how he made his living in the EPL for many years.

Toronto will be better this season.

Yedlin was good again.

Colorado looks good, Toronto looks scary, Philly is improved, and the Red Bulls and Revs look much worse than last year!

Looks like the revs are having a hard time adjusting from scrappy team that surprises the league to a preseason top 4. On the plus side teal bunbury looked fantastic. Would love to see him get back to the prospect that earned him caps in 2010. Maybe he can make next jan camp and pass wondo for that starting forward for mls only camps

Will Bruin is playing well in the early season.

Lucky on the goal but when you're playing well, you make your own luck. He's involved.

Good for him.

Anyone else think Bruin gets called up for the Mexico friendly? I wouldn't be surprised.

The revs will get it together next weekend. I can't wait for the home season opener. its gonna be a great atmosphere hopefully we can score some goals. I didn't get to catch the revs game today since I was playing a game of my own. But yea I heard it was good. Nice to hear the Toronto vs Seattle game was good. Defoe is gonna bring something new to the mls

I had never really paid attention to Shea Salinas, pretty dynamic player.

I was just going to say. I would never have guessed this RSL - SJ game would be as good as it is. I'm pretty surprised.

Overall it's been a mixed bag in MLS so far this weekend

The first 80 minutes of the SKC-Dallas game was a snoozer. The Houston-Montreal game was slightly better but still not great. I liked the NYRB-Colorado game but the PK call was a total joke. The Union-Revs game was disappointing but it's great the Seattle-Toronto game lived up to its billing.

This RSL-SJ game is quite good. Beckerman has continued to grow on my as a player. If he only had a bit more athleticism and speed he'd be tremendous. Still, he's very good. His passing is just so underrated and he reads the game well. . Gil's assist on Plata's goal was class.

I've been a critic of Beckerman in the past, but he's starting to win me over as a player. Even though he's in his thirties he's still improving, all that talk about we need to dump our old players for young players is absolute nonsense. Beckerman does all the dirty work for his team, he keeps possession when needed, makes key passes, and has improved his positioning. I think KB should partner up with MB90 at the friendly against mexico.

I'm late to this party as I just watched the Seattle vs Toronto game. Clint was lucky not to get sent off but his goal got me to jump out of my seat. The US needs Clint to find his form and his goal came from a great team run of play and he buried it off of a nice first touch. That's exactly the type of goal he needed. He also had another nice attempt on goal that Julio Cesar stopped off of the header from Marshall that was called a foul for some unknown reason.

Bradley had a few sloppy plays early on but he was all over the pitch. It's a treat to watch him play and I'm contemplating ordering MLS Live primarily to watch more of Toronto.

Toronto is going to go as far as their health will take them. They can be really good if everyone stays healthy but they don't have the type of depth that other teams have if any of their key players go down.
