It was interesting to see the reactions from the players from the Donovan cut. While Bradley and Howard seemed professional but a little shook... it was Dempsey that surprised me. I didn't see any remorse, but rather a hint of joy, in discussing the LD cut. I can't help but wonder if that Demspey vs. Donovan talk really got to Duece, and that he is happy to have beaten out LD in the long run. For a player whose NT success was very dependent on LD, it was weird to see the smirk when talking about the cut. It also leads to believe the captain and coach were on the same page in regards with LD... even if they didn't discuss it before hand.

OK, so I watched this on Sunday after the game. I would like to know what he did for you to see a hint of joy? Both he and Howard said basically the same thing. It's unfortunate for him, but it is part of the business and we have to move forward with it. I'm paraphrasing of course but that was the jist of it. I don't think just because Demps didn't speak at length about it means that he enjoyed the decision. His comments were short and sweet. I really think that is just more of his personality.

Agree! You just feel all the tension and excitement of the fans at the same time. Yet the team seems normal and just building up for something big in the world cup. #crazythinghappen

Hopefully ratings don't take a big hit since game 3 of the NBA finals start at 9 E. Will be fun to watch the final episode. Can't believe the wc is less than 2 days away.

ESPN has their TV guide all messed up tonight. So turns out it was only a half hour.

I loved Juergen screaming at the guys not to stop their run and throw up their arm when the opponent is offside. He was livid.

Also this piece on Brazil is interesting, I didn't realize how tough things had gotten for Julio Cesar. Toronto tossed him a lifeline.

Sportscenter just advertised another episode tonight at 9:30pm Eastern.

I have no idea if this is a new episode or a repeat (but why plug a repeat?)

Last night was supposed to be an hour but it turned out to be a half hour. Maybe this is the continuation from last night?

Well that is bizarre. I recorded for 1.5 hours and had the episode highlighting Jacksonville / Nigeria match which was immediately followed by the Brazil documentary that was supposed to start 30 mins later and then they re-aired the Jacksonville episode.

What happened in the second episode were they already training in Brazil?

The 2nd episode was the Jacksonville/Nigeria match. The 1st episode had them in NY and covered the Turkey game and press conferences in NYC, etc.

Here's the scoop: Starting in 45 minutes (6pm Eastern) ESPN2 will air ALL episodes of Inside: US Soccer's March to Brazil.

This will culminate with a live Epilogue episode at 9:30pm Eastern and will be followed by the Timbers vs FC Dallas game.

It's a good evening of programming on ESPN2 for anybody who missed any of the episodes.
