Even though this series tells us absolutely nothing, I love every minute of it. You have to assume that US soccer has veto power over any footage that could tip off our competitors to our strategy. They've said from the start that this series will not include Juergen's conversations with the 7 players that get cut which would obviously make for great TV.

The main take away from tonight's episode is that Omar recognizes that he played poorly in the Mexico friendly but blamed it on his first international cap of the season. Apparently he hasn't been following himself over the past year. He also recognizes that his lack of training due to this injury could send him home.

Wish they would have player reactions live on ESPN on the final cuts and makes, that would be epic. Kinda like reality tv a la bacholerette lol. Emotions would be amazing for the players that make it and the ones who get cut.

Then neither has Klinsmann. From what I can gather, if Gonzo can get himself back to last summer's form, he's a starter. I know Cameron is a very legit option now, but he hasn't been convincing in his few CB starts either. So, to me, it seems like the RCB spot is in Gonzo's hands if he wants it.

This is a light-hearted comment because I'm not trying to go all conspiracy theory here, but I've got this gut feeling that Edu will be on the final roster. Between this ESPN special and American Soccer Now's 3 part series on him, they are really trying to play up some kind of "feel good" story for this guy.

I actually think they cover guys like this so when they in fact don't make the squad, there is more melodrama when he exits.

Makes for good television when you are more invested and knowledgeable of their situation.

Bubble players make great subplots.
