What a finish in Portland! Nice way to finish your debut, Fernandez.

Good to see some young guys getting some minutes. Okoli and Allen. Everyone seems to project Allen as a defender, but from what I understand he is an attacking midfielder/ winger.

Cant believe I am going to watch Chivas USA and the Fire. Then again its the only match and it will be interesting how CHivas and Fire will perform.

A few things from the Portland -Philly game

Hackworth put Edu higher up the field and he looked pretty good

Really want McInerney to stay consistent nice flicked header goal from him last night

Our U-23 team will be stacked. Okoli, Allen, Acosta, Miller, Gil, and Trapp all played yesterday. Martin Vasquez is going to have a huge head ache.

MLS looks a lot better in quality this year. Seems a bit faster and a lot more cohesive passing. I think this will be the year to win the CCL.

Burling with a punishing header...Chicago D needs a lot of work...B team CBs.

I can't imagine Yallop sticking with a guy like Rolfe for too long. Nice to see Joya bag one.
