Will this be Dempsey's and Donovan's last international tournament? I think it will be: Here is a potential 23:

GK: Sean John, Howard, Guzan

Defense: Chandler, Yedlin, Cameron, Besler, Brooks, Fabian, Klute

CM's: Bradley, Williams, Diskerud, Gil, Holden

Attackers: Zardes, Altidore, Agudelo, Dempsey, Lando, Green, AJ, Zusi

Other potentials: Boyd, Junior Flores, Salgado, Shea, Arriola, Corona, Gonzo, Packwood, Castillo, Holmes, Joya, Trapp, Alfred Koroma

Since we won last year, maybe Klinsmann decides on a younger team. Now Klinsmann could say F**K it and bring the A team. Or he could bring a relatively young team, get them some games, show some young talent, knowing he'll have a spot in the fight for the 2017 Confederations Cup spot.

Do like the roster though.

Looks like the U-20 WC is going on at the same time the Gold Cup will be happening, so you can rule out guys like Arriola or Junior Flores for the 2015 Gold Cup. Green will probably be playing for the Gold Cup team instead of the U-20 WC team.

Klinsmann seems like he wants to be in Confed Cup for sure getting ready for Russia. Meaning that he will want to win this cup in order to guarantee a spot in confed cup

2Tone - While I like your 23, some of them aren't going to make it.
Holden is done internationally. I can't see him making it back to that level.
Many of the young players you mentioned (Zardes, Trapp, Holmes, Joya, Salgado, etc...) are not going to get their first taste of Sr. International play at the 2015 GC. They'll be called up for the 15/16 January camp or some meaningless friendly.
I expect JK to call up the best options possible for the 2015 GC, since if we win we get a direct ticket to the 2017 confederations cup.
Expect the last international games for Jones, Donovan, Dempsey, & Beasley....
The core of Howard, Bradley, Jones, F. Johnson.....
and the 2018 players....Green, Johannsson, Chandler, Yedlin, D. Williams, Gil.

Same in 2016. The winner of they copa Americas gets a spot in the confederations cup. But I really doubt USA wins it. A lot of good teams. So their best bet is 2015.

I think the roster selection will speak volumes about the direction USA is going. Now we should be trying to win the gold cup next year to not have a playoff for confederations cup. But at the same time World Cup is what matters. Should guys like jones, gooch, Dempsey, Landon, Beasley with zero chance of going to Russia soak up minutes? What about guys like Zusi,Bedoya, besler? They'll likely be needed through qualification but if they are starters in 2018 we aren't having a successful World Cup. I'm more interested in that roster than this Junes.

I think we have to go and show well in 2016 copa america. One reason is because its at home and the other is because we have JK. Bradley always took a B team and got destroyed every time which was annoying to watch. Not only that but if we do well in 2016 Copa America we might get further invitation for future tournament which would be good to expand our game. ESPECIALLY now that our B team can win a gold cup then an A team goes to Copa America. Thoughts?

For all the preseason hype surrounding Zardes this season he's been a complete flop. seriously don't want him to turn into another Shea but that's what it looks like..

Other potential young players getting major minutes you missed are: Shipp, Cascio, Rowe, Serna, Gatt, Fernandes, Deleon and to a lesser extent guys like Pineda, Garcia, Okoli, Allen etc. US is going to look much more attractive when attacking. Going to be fun. Jan Camp next year will be very telling as to who will be considered for the GC.

My dream come true would be in 2015; more realistic would probably be WC 2018

Green AJ Arriola

Bradley Flores/Gil

Trapp

Garza Brooks Packwood Yedlin

Howard/Guzan

subs
Palmer Brown, Guido, Agudelo, Rubin, Pelosi, Diskerud, Altidore, Walter Zimmerman, Matt Hedges, Kelyn Acosta, Cropper, Geoff Cameron
