Zardes is tearing it up in pre-season. He has been playing more in his natural Striker position with Donovan at LW.

I have a feeling he is going to light up MLS this season and start to garner USMNT looks from Klinsmann heading into the 2018 WC cycle. I am also predicting that he makes it on to the 2015 Gold Cup team.

LD has been praising Zardes this pre-season and firmly believes Zardes is going to be a force. Really excited to see him play this upcoming season.

2015 Gold Cup attackers:

Zardes winger/Striker, Agudelo, AJ, Green, Altidore, Zusi, Donovan(last hurrah for Donovan)

Zardes is finally shooting at GOAL and not taking crazy shots. He could easily lead the mls in scoring. I think Galaxy is going to lead the mls in scoring this year. A lot of attackers of the team and also good midfield players, izakhi the swedish new player, and Samuel will have an impact, and with landon, keane.

Zardes continues his goal scoring hot form scoring his 5th. All he needed was for Bruce to finally put him at striker. I fully expect to see Zardes get significant looks for the USMNT in the coming months. I predict he scores 12 to 14 goals this season.

Wouldn't be surprised to see him on the Gold Cup roster next summer.

Well 2 goals now good run from the right side by Zardes. Zardes will get a lot of goal chances playing off of robbie keane. I could see it zardes has really good speed. Although I am pretty sure USMNT will be bringing our A team so it might be difficult but he could deffiently be the 23rd guy on the roster. He could be a player we throw in the game down late and in need of a goal or somebody to run at tired defenders. I love his upside especially because as he grows into his position he looks more and more comfortable there.

I like that he is versatile. He can play at RW, LW, and Striker. His best position is at striker, but he has that versatility in his locker.

New England falling apart. You knew once the third goal came the Revolution had to push numbers and they already had 10 men. Revs playing a lost game and into LA hands after 3rd goal.

Dang six straight losses for New England wow they need to recover their playoff hopes are taking a major hit. Its pivotal that next game they can at least get a result because the east is creeping up pretty quickly on them. Zardes played very well tonight him and keane are developing quite the partnership.

New England's saving grace is that they play in the East.

LA look like contenders again.

Galaxy always contenders. They are just clicking now and will get better specially with gonzo back. I knew zardes potential since his first day. I remember when he got drafted I said he would be the best player from that class, specially with the coaching he is getting and the mentors he has. Would love to see him go to La Liga he would blossom his talent onto a new level. I said in a post a while back once he puts his shots on goal and makes the right decisions he can easily lead the MLS in scoring.

Zardes looks like a poor man's Jozy Altidore.
