Edu really ?? Can't believe he actually got called he won't play a single min tho. I still think green will start. 2tone line up willost likely be it except no eh and green in his place.

What will be interesting is that the CB pairing he uses likely predicts the CB pairing he will use against GHANA. It's either going to be Omar-Besler or Goodson-Besler. Cameron will remain a RB.

No problem whatsoever.
The big omissions are Magee, Feilhaber, and Torres (who has played well).
But that's not really a big deal
Green, Yedlin, and Gil are getting fast tracked.
question though... who is better pure play-maker in entire pool than benny?
gil is not going to help this team in brazil. i dont mind his inclusion, but if its him or benny i really dont get it
there is a pretty direct correlation between JKs ability to properly use guys like benny and kljestan and the fact that US has scored 0 goals in last 3 euro-friendlies
US offense under JK has very little purpose - there is no one linking bradley to the goal scorers and playing "possession" instead of counter means no space, no pace, ad very little activity in final third
people should be upset about how JK dissed benny this entire cycle

Rain I'm soooooooo sick of your negativity and JK bashing. I see your name and really don't have to read post. You regurgitate the same thing over and over and over! If he included Benny you'd find another person to base your complaint on!
Okay, rant over!
I wish players like Garza were available. I think he's done well at LB in CCL.
I think JK may be through with Torres, I could be wrong. IMO he seems to do well for club but only so-so internationally.
Overall this is what was expected. Benny would have been nice to see but realistically he's not even a bubble player at this point.

Feilhaber has shown he can handle WC pressure very well. Gil has shown he waivers a bit (U-20 WC, I don't care about his goal, I mean all 3 games the pressure was clear in him, especially in that abysmal PK)

Good squad feel bad for magee not getting capped but it is what it is. Feilhaber not getting called up is surprising but my guess is he was unable to make an impression on klinsmann. Torres was okay internationally he never did enough to stick. Sometimes certain players dont stick honestly feilhaber and torres even if called on this roster both had very slim chances to make it to brazil. In international football average isnt going to get you to brazil you have to show at least something to end up in brazil. Its a good roster and I approve of most of it.

Poor McGee. When someone overachieves like he has, I just want to see that player keep going. I love me a Jay DeMerit type of story.
rainORshine, Kljestan, huh? Big fan of The Wrong Pass, are you?
USSoccer seems to think Edu plays in Turkey; nice of him to fly in for the game.
As for the XI, I'd love to see not-Evans start and have a great game.
And as far as not having to speculate for the next few months, I'd love to see minutes for Orozco, Edu, Gil and Green, and have them do great or terribly. It'll save me a lot of message-board blathering starting with "Hey, what about _____?"

I'm in agreement with 2Tone's lineup of what JK will do.
I would like to see one adjustment and that is Wondo up top in place of EJ.
