I'm going to get one of these for the upcoming season but don't know which one to go with. If you have either one or have opinions on them I'd like to know what you think. Any help is appreciated. Thanks guys and gals?

I'm kind of on something similar to you. My dilemma is to hook up some 30$ internet or 80$+ directv for the sports package. With internet i would be able to stream almost any match but with the sat, recording plays a great asset. Downside is not many mls matches.. And 80$ is a lot.. But the genie bro.. Ugh.

I've used both. Personally I find the DirectKick works better for the simple reason that you can record what you want and watch at your leisure. MLSLive has advantages in that you can watch anywhere, across multiple platforms. If you so desired you could likely stream them from your computer to your TV for the same viewing experience.
