Nice to see the young ones going toe to toe with the best nations in the world, but the finishing has to get better if you want to take the next step.

Akale won player of the tournament, I'm sure more European trials to come for him.

Good for Akale but bad tournament for the sub 18's they lost all 3 games no room for excuses A loss is what it is no matter what the score was and a W is what it is no mater the score. We could say the same on several USA wins we won but the other team dominated us. So is a disappointment overall for USA in this tournament.

Nike friendlies dont meant s*** I knew poeple would get all excited if they did something good. Some of yall here are all happy they did good, I remember when Mexico sub 17 went to the final people here were who cares about sub 17 none do anything with the senior team. Im predicting right now 0 players from our sub 17 will have an impact with the mnt in the future. Rarely happens. If our sub 17s were to win the sub17 wc everyone would go ape shit. I knew it. is amazing how peoples perception changes all of a sudden.

So the Nike Friendlies don't mean shit, but a U-18 tournament in the Canary Islands is some disaster that we lost? Stop contradicting yourself. It's embarrassing.

Youth tournaments do matter.... the experience for our players is invaluable and not to mention scouts watch those kinds of tournys too. Should a player impress he might get a chance to go on trial with a club. US went to Spain with a really young group and managed to go toe to toe with squads older than they are.

Anyways about Akale, every one is raving about Zelalem but seriously need to wake up that he's not likely going to play for the usa. Akale is a special player, on of the up coming playmakers for the US. We lose Zelalem and Green who cares, we got Akale, Pulisic, and Flores coming up.

Yeah I hear Akale was being scouted by Bayern Munich at this tournament. I hear he could be a very special player in the future. After the Spain game many of the Spanish players made it a point to shake his hand. Quality players recognize and appreciate when they play against other quality players.

Nope all those tournaments are friendlies nothing to get excited about. Once we prove it internationally at big tournaments and lift cups i will be happy.

Anyways i don't understand this dunlopp person obsession with me. almost all my post i submit you follow me. Is like im your idol kid.

Idk if you know how to read but how am i contradicting myself ??? i said Nike friendlies don't mean noting, and i pretty much repeated myself with the sub 18's they dint do nothing in the tournament. either you are an idiot or are just making yourself look like a fool.

Only the few players are the ones to keep in mind period. Flores, Akale, de la torre, Wright, Pulisic, Barbir ext. I repeat my self again those tournaments are not that big a deal unless were in the final of a sub 17, or 20 WC. other than that we know at least 90% of all those players wont have a real impact with the mnt only a few.

Don't flatter yourself. I can barely read your posts, due to both your awful spelling and grammar, and the absurdity of your opinions. Sorry, I'm using big words again. I'll tone it down for you.

You can't say that ONE U-18 tournament doesn't mean shit, and then complain about us not winning another one (and let's be frank, neither tournaments mean shit). Either you think results don't matter at that level, or they do matter.
