The U-18's will be playing Spain, Argentina, and the Canary Islands. The US will also be fielding one of the youngest teams.

Is it good or bad that so many of the guys are unattached? Is it strong roster?

a bunch of those guys are former residency players and I don't think US Soccer has updated their statuses yet

Moore and Turner are only the two who are truly unattached. Rubin will be with Utrecht when he turns 18. I know Moore has been trialing like crazy in Europe, and Turner will probably be heading to College.

Jackson yueill was added to make it 18. This kid got rave reviews last camp. Apparently plays Xavi-like. Interesting to see how they do against some of the big boys in world football. Think they can give em a good run

'97 #usynt Mukwelle Akale hit the post for US U18s in the 80 minutes before the talented Spanish U18 came right down and scored GWG

Spain won 1-0. Rubio Rubin was captain.

Reading the teams were pretty much evenly matched.

Good job for being the youngest team at this tournament.

U-18's will face the oldest team in the tournament tomorrow: Argentina's U-20's.

U-18's lose a hard fought game to Argentina's U-20's 1-0. From reading; the US U-18's were quite evenly matched with Argentina's older U-20 team.

Next up the Canary Islands. It will be nice to see them come home with at least a win. Very unlucky not to have tied both Spain and Argentina.

I'd consider our U18s losing 1-0 to Argentina U20s a win
