Are you guys reading this somewhere, that he's demanding too much money? Or are you making assumptions based off his twitter feed and the way he looks?

I think lots are speculating due to several factors.
1) He's a free transfer (Euro clubs usually jump all over free transfers)
2) Hes young (Another Plus)
3) He's had some success in a European league.
If its not money you'd think teams would be lining up to bring him in as a squad player at least

Or he has multiple offers and is taking the decision seriously. Also, if his agent is worth half his paycheck, he's using each offer as leverage to get more money. Even players with crew cuts and levi's hold out for more money.
I'm actually glad he's taking his time to make the right move. Last thing we need is another American to jump at the first offer given to them.
All the assumptions in regards to Agudelo crack me up. As if we really know whats going on.

He should get every dime possible. However at some point you need to sign or you'll be left in the dust. Its extremely hard for a player to join a team without any type of preseason. No matter what team he chooses now already has a defined 1st team lineup thats gone through 5+ friendlies and have spent the last 6-8 weeks training together. He's going to be behind the 8 ball from the get go. He should have signed 2-3 weeks ago to get acclimated and gain his coaches favor. I wouldnt be surprised if he doesnt become a regular until december now.

Exactly.
AT this point he is going to have a hard time catching up with his teammates no matter what tem he goes too...

No doubt, but in this crazy game called soccer, talent usually prevails. He'll be behind the rest of the squad at first, but as long as he works hard he'll get there. My stance on this situation would be slightly different if it were a world cup year, but its not.

Can we talk about how deluded Agudelo is? He has received interest from NYCFC, but is holding out on NYCFC in order to still try (again) to get into an EPL club.

NYCFC would be awesome for Juan, getting to play with top class players like Lampard and Villa will both improve his skills and will showcase how much better he can be when surrounded by quality players...at the very least, it'll be a great shop window for him.

But no Juan, keep having no club. That's better for you. In his case I wonder if having gone to college would have been helpful for him to mature his decision making.

The only reason I see him still holding out for an EPL club is if has a few EPL teams really interested. Supposedly he is trying to buy real estate in Cyprus which would somehow grant him an EU passport.
Whatever he better choose wisely soon.

What was wrong with the Eredivisie? Forget about the work permit issue, I don't see him cracking a Premiership lineup at this point. He'd be putting himself in serious risk of being Edu'd.

Just saying, maybe he should consider staying there. Apoel is from Cyprus right?? Seriously though I hope he is staying in playing shape somewhere but pickup games will risk injury. Juan has gotten bad advice all along this new development is not a surprise even though it's weird.

Why not try Mexico? There was a team that wanted EJ and i think someone can benefit from Agudelo. He can probably negotiate a good check but the season is almost over, i think. Even though i stated he was a little bitch for saying bradley was going to get paid too much or something like that, I guess so far he was right. Bradley might not be worth those 9 mil or whatever they're paying him.

I can't decide whether Brek Shea or Agudelo is the more self destructive yank.
