Pulisic and Gooch will be outside backs for a while with both club and country.

Looks like Ajax and Porto are leading the way to sign Palmer -Brown. PSG, Manchester City, and Chelsea are all monitoring him closely as well.

Sporting KC better sell. They aren't using him.

They just throw PSG, Manchester City, and Chelsea in the mix to drive the transfer price up.

And yet SKC sent him down to Swope Park Rangers...

I wish MLS teams were more willing to roll the dice on youngsters. I love Ajax's approach to sink or swim with their young talent and then sell them on.

Hell if EPB joins Ajax he can mentor Joshua Pynadath who is with their U15 team.

Multiple sources: Paris St. Germain the most likely destination for Erik Palmer-Brown as of right now. $2.5M+ transfer fee and sell on %

Oh man.

Ajax or Porto would be fantastic. Those are two of the best clubs in the world at developing young players.

PSG will be HORRIBLE. They buy success and all their players have to be world class. They don't have time to play someone like EPB.

If I were EPB I'd say Ajax/Porto or no other team. These other teams listed...it's ridiculous. It's just to sell jerseys to Americans (2.5 mil is nothing for them). He'll never play there, go on loan to loan, and fail to fulfill his potential.

Also, the lack of PT for EPB is just classic MLS. Why give chances to youngsters when you can't spend any money from their sale on the squad (salary cap)? MLS teams ruin these young kids' development. In any other country, they'd be played in hopes of seeing them improve and eventually command a big transfer fee. There's just no financial incentive for MLS teams to do so, and since American coaches have never really had to this before (develop young talent for export), they don't know how.

Considering he already played for Porto B 1 season I could see him going back there over Ajax given the familiarity. Hope it goes through.

Supposedly its down to Chelsea, PSG, Ajax, or Porto. Good to see the big clubs take a look. I think Ajax & Porto are the only ones he has a chance to actually get minutes for. PSG or Chelsea would likely be buy and loan out.

It will be interesting to see whether these teams see him as a defender or a cdm. Outside of PSG, he will likely get minutes if he signs with any of the others (albeit at Vitesse if he takes the money and signs with Chelsea).

I don't know whether this is as bad as you think it is. Realistically, he could be the 4th or 5th CB on the 4th best MLS team, which also has the single best defense in the league. SKC could be getting him minutes at SPRangers in a very responsible way.

That doesn't mean SKC is under-appreciating him. It's not easy to break in as a 20 year old CB. If he goes to PSG, it's for a loan-out.
