BShred tweeted not too long ago that the loan was extended through April 3. Great to see he'll still get the minutes he needs to make his WC push.

Good to see Brek continue to have stability with Barnsley until April 3rd. What a weird date. The regular season for the Championship ends May 3rd. Why end the loan April 3rd?

Probably to give depth for a probable relegation battle... They want to be sure to give themselves a cushion in case of injuries.

Or so I would guess...

Somewhat related, Emmanuel Frimpong signs from Arsenal. Should be great for the team and therefore good for Brek. Frimpong has been on the fringe of the Arsenal first team for years and has a lot of talent in the deep midfield. Should provide some stability for the team and allow the wingers to get forward more.

Good luck to all involved.

Good job showing you aren't a deuschbag Brek. Tell your coach F U, hit a ref with a ball, take a picture showing guns, flip off crowd fans... whats next!

They are going to continue to pay him even though he's not there...

Brek Shea is taking the Freddy Adu attitude career path.

Well looks like he is not going to the wc. Unless he starts playing regularly for stoke.

He's going to the WC no matter what....as long as his cameos for the USMNT are positive, he is going to WC.

Corona could swoop in. He has been playing really well at LW.

Navi you try way to hard to discredit Shea. Humans make mistakes because they are humans. No one is immune to fuck ups. Maybe you should try to be a bit more humble. If Shea turns out to not be good enough than he turns out to not be good enough. Don't understand why fans go to such lengths to crap on players.

I missed a lot of these, I need to do some catching up on Brek. You can also add holding a severed pig head in a photograph just moments before it was put in a Muslim teammate's locker to the list. Granted that wasnt instigated by Brek and it was with Stoke not Barnsley but it was still poor judgement

I like Brek even if he is doing his best Clint Mathis impression (minus the Doritos). I would love for him to come back to the MLS but he still has 3 years left on his contract.
