28 days, this is going to blow up in Brek and Barsnely's faces. He may very well choke in first 1-2 games and then they won't trust him with much PT after that.

The only player that is maybe in discussion for the WC in the championship is Lijah. Other than that no one really. Even then in 2014 once Chandler, Cherundolo come back to the mnt pic Lijah hopes are gone, the fullbacks spots will be full. And as i do see Shea being a full time starter for barnsley i don't see him making a real impact for them therefore not attracting much attention to klissman.
I think someone mentioned this before, but his name is Klinsmann, not that hard to spell really. And you are leaving out Danny Williams and possibly Holden if he returns second half of the season.

The level of importance of this single game on his confidence/mind cannot be overstated. The championship is NOT a poor league, it is not easy for a winger to succeed here (especially on this poor team). It will take a lot from Brek.

Blow up in his and Barnsley's faces? He has been heavily involved today sending in crosses and getting shots off.

Don't really get the cynical attitude towards Shea. Let the player be.

I've seen a few posts from Barnsley supporters, and it seems to be going well so far.

Also, a few of them have been calling him Shrek. What won't they come up with over there?

I am sure if Shea plays well Barnsley will try to extend the loan.

wow Shea gets loaned in a few hours and next thing you know he cracks the starting 11. Guess his world cup dream is still alive.

Great news, any way for him to get playing time and hopefully get some confidence going... it's been a tough year and now he's looking on to 2014.

I also don't get the negativity... Brek has the ability to be dynamic and has shown that already at several different levels, just needs playing time and lets see what he can do with it.

Like I said before, I still think he's got a real chance at being involved in the world cup squad due to that ability to be a spark off the bench.

The negativity is based around the FACT that when things don't go well for him his confidence and emotions go into a self destructive downward spiral. Remember when he told his coach to go fuck himself? Or when he hit a ref with the soccer ball?

can we assume that stoke has SHea in their plans or is it Barnley that only made the loan for a month? I would think if Stoke dont want Shea he can go on a full season loan right? How was Shea today?

my first thought ie 28 days is stoke wants him back.

but maybe barnsley are skeptical and dont wanna be on the hook for the whole half season if he bombs...
