Glad to see Holmes making an instant impact for his new club. Drew a penalty, but subbed of for a minor injury.

I could see Williams, Spector, Packwood, Onyewu, and Shea getting called up for the Ukraine friendly.[/quote]

I think ream should be added to the list would be some left back depth and also could be depth at the centerback position. Also if lichaj is healthy by the friendly I would rather lichaj get called up then spector. I like spector but I think lichaj should get the call up instead.

Andi Herzog was at the Birmingham game today. Scouting Packwood and Spector who both went 90. This is good

Holmes goes 77 minutes. Subbed for a minor injury. Taken down in the box for a PK that led to Yoevils 1-0 win.

Birmingham City wins 2-1. Both Spector and Packwood go 90.

Wednesday wins 2-0. Onyewu goes 90.

Bolton win 2-0. Ream goes 90.

Forest lose 3-1. Lichaj sat on the bench.

Barnsley wins 1-0. Shea plays for 30 minutes.

Blackburn wins 1-0. Henley goes 90.

Reading lose 1-0. Williams goes 90.

I could see Williams, Spector, Packwood, Onyewu, and Shea getting called up for the Ukraine friendly.

Glad to see Henley go a full 90'. He has a ton of skill. Not saying he should get any chance to go to brazil but I'd love him to get back on track and work his way into the 2018 picture.

Someone direct Mr Herzog towards the Reading Yeovil game next week to get a look at Williams and Holmes.

3/games:

Yeovil up 1-0 on Reading at half. Holmes starts for Yeovil, Williams starts for Reading.

Bolton up 2-0 on Blackburn at half. Ream starts for Bolton, Henley starts for Blackburn.

Barnsley losing 2-0 to Huddersfiled at half. Shea on bench for Barnsley.

Birmingham losing 1-0 to Ipswich at half. Packwood and Spector start for Birmingham.

Forest losing 1-0 to Wigan at half. Lichaj starts for Forest.

Wednesday and Boro tied at 0-0 at half. Gooch starts for Wednesday.

Holmes again impressing and making Yeovil a much better team.

The irony of the above is that all those above starters will not go to WC but the bench player will.

Shea has been on the bench because he is recovering from a sickness.

Packwood has talent. I think he is definitely a premier league caliber CB.
