From the live text he looked pretty active, a few missed shots and generally more offensively active with him on the field. No goals came from it though, we'll see if he gets the start in the next outing.

Duane Holmes is moving to Yeovil Town on a one month loan. Smart move for the kid.

Good move. Id assume since they should be desperate to not be relegated they will give him all the minutes he can handle

If this move can give the kid full 90 mins, it would only do him a world of good.

Not so sure, if he goes 90 in defeat after soul-crushing defeat, that doesn't sound good to me. Of course, I don't think that will happen and his energy and enthusiasm will help lift the whole team...jus sayin'...we've seen with Clint and Jozy that not all loan moves are good.

Wins and losses on a short term loan dont matter. He's not a 30 something year old veteran. Hes a 20 year old kid who needs minutes and to learn physically what it takes to go a full 90 week in and week out. He cant learn that from the bench. He needs the minutes so he can break camp next year as huds starter from the get go

Might not matter to us, but it could destroy his confidence and set him back in his development.

Your point about him not being a 30 yr old veteran is well taken, I mean I understand that no matter what having him start and finish league matches is important for his development. It just isn't a given that absolutely nothing bad could come from his move.

Too bad for Holmes after winning a corner is subbed off shortly after due to an injury.

Holmes goes 77 minutes. Subbed for a minor injury. Taken down in the box for a PK that led to Yoevils 1-0 win.

Birmingham City wins 2-1. Both Spector and Packwood go 90.

Wednesday wins 2-0. Onyewu goes 90.

Bolton win 2-0. Ream goes 90.

Forest lose 3-1. Lichaj sat on the bench.

Barnsley wins 1-0. Shea plays for 30 minutes.

Blackburn wins 1-0. Henley goes 90.

Reading lose 1-0. Williams goes 90.

I could see Williams, Spector, Packwood, Onyewu, and Shea getting called up for the Ukraine friendly.
