my guess is still that, if nothing else, he will at least try to pry gonzo and besler away. think he will want to start cameron at RB and there are just really slim pickingings at CB in europe at the moment

I agree that we're going to need CB support from the MLS purely for depth. He could go with Brooks and Cameron as his CBs but then who is the RB?

Alternative to your proposal, he might bring over Goodson. He has taken a lot of looks at the Besler and Gonzo partnership (although the more PT they get together, the better) and Goodson has looked solid whenever he's been called upon.

Either way, he needs MLS CB support in Ukraine.

Particularly with all the ongoing uncertainty surrounding our CB's, it would to be a good idea to give Zak Whitbread an opportunity to at least be in camp, and see how he may fit in to the equation.

Onyewu is only out for a week. I think he gets added to the team for ukraine at centerback. If its him and then JAB coming out of europe. Even though ream is playing at left back klinsmann could use him and packwood as backups potentially. Although Gonzo and Besler could come to the game and mabye a couple other options. I am not sure we will bring 3 goalkeepers if not opens up extra spot on the roster for a packwood or a wood, or a green. I like whitbread but I think he is too injury prone also he isnt a starter for his club he has only played 3 games for Derby this season.

Of course he'll bring 3 keepers. It will most likely be Cropper again to sit the bench and learn some more from Timmy and Brad. Its a perfect setup and the perfect way to integrate a young player. When you have a position that has a 0.001% chance of seeing the field it should go to a young guy. 3rd goalie, 8th or 9th defensmen, 4th striker. These spots should almost always go to U21 players so they can learn from top pros like Dempsey, Bradley, Howard, etc and at the same time see how high the caliber of play and how intense the camps can be for international soccer. You would simultaneously weed out the players who arent up for it faster and integrate the ones who can help much quicker

Lichaj is out for a few weeks from what his coach said. He should be ready and hopefully so due to Chandler's injury.

Brek Shea didn't even make the 18 for Barnsley yesterday. It's getting harder for me to see Shea on the plane to Brasil. If it comes down to him or Green I think Klinsmann takes Green.

I keep trying to watch it and every time I do, it brings me to a page for something else that I need to sign up for. Anyone know any workarounds?

Theres a bunch of different links for each game. Try a few out and see which works for you. It's better if you have adblocker.
