Im calling it now Danny Williams will make it over Kyle Beckerman and Brek Shea over Brad Davis or any other back up left midfielder make the world cup team unless injured. Lichaj will be a 50-50 I think as a left back backup he could make it Cameron looks to be the starting right back, Chandler will probably be called up in march, and klinsman loves brad evans. Ream and Gooch have little to no chance ream even when playing didnt get called up in november. Gooch needs to pass a lot of centerbacks in his way. Packwood, Holmes, Ariybi are way too young for a world cup.

Your keyboard to God's ears...I've always been a big Brek Shea supporter and really want to see him in Brazil.

With reading some recent talk by Landon Donovan,

"I think Jurgen has made it pretty clear how he wants to play and guys need to sort of fit into those roles. But we're also very able to adapt, capable of adapting, and we have enough guys with enough experience now where that can be seamless."

I find it hard to think of many new inclusions on who JK is bringing to Brazil. I personally would take Williams over Beckerman or Lichaj & Chandler over Evans & Parkhurst, but something tells me the hubris of JK will not let that happen.

I hope I am wrong.

Haha that would be pretty cool right? Nah its just very telling that Klinsi calls him up almost every opportunity possible regardless of situation. I think Klinsi is very high on him and I am also when he is at his best form.

You all must realize that donovan's comments above was a veiled insult to jurgen. Landon does not think it is wise to force players into unnatural roles.

Brek was hobbling a bit. He seems to be alright.

Sheffield with more chances so far

Yeah I stopped watching because the thread continually cut out.

Frimpong is a very average player.

If Danny Williams isn't called in for the Ukraine camp, I will be a very disappointed man. Guy has been solid all season for Reading, and I would like to see him give JJ a run for his money for the spot next to MB90.

JJ and Bradley just dont work well together. It always seems when jones comes off bradley goes up field and the US plays much better. I like Williams just staying in the cdm role and letting bradley roam up field. Jones just doesnt work at CDM however klinsi will always start him. So I have no idea how jones wont be the starter at the world cup.
