It's not crazy to say Lichaj could start in the WC, wouldn't be shocking to see Williams either. Shea was once a lock and is still a Klinsy favorite... lots to talk about in the Championship.

People look down on the championship because its a "Second division" league. But really the championship is one of the most challenging and fast paced leagues in the world. A league where our young guys can get great exposure. Holmes, Lichaj, Shea, Williams, and Ream. It just fits their style more.

Agreed with the last two posts. If a guy like Mix can make the WC squad playing in the Norwegian league, any of these guys could make the squad playing in the Championship. I dare someone to try and tell me that the Norwegian league is better than the Championship.

Well, that's not great but it could be worse...from the BBC live text it looks like Shea had a good match, any fan response on that so far?

Shea went the full 90. Barnsley tied Blackburn 2-2. From what I could read it seems Shea had another good game.

Gooch went 90 in Wednesday's 1-1 tie with millwall.

Ream was injured.

Packwood went 90 in their 2-1 loss to Leicester City

Holmes an unused sub in Huddersfield 2-1 loss to Bournemouth. Huddersfield fans aren't appreciating the coaching staff keeping Holmes on the bench so often recently.

Williams looks destined to go 90 for Reading in their 5-1 demolition of Blackpool.

Huge for Packwood, that match was against the top Championship club and to not only get the start but play 90'... Excellent news.

Im calling it now Danny Williams will make it over Kyle Beckerman and Brek Shea over Brad Davis or any other back up left midfielder make the world cup team unless injured. Lichaj will be a 50-50 I think as a left back backup he could make it Cameron looks to be the starting right back, Chandler will probably be called up in march, and klinsman loves brad evans. Ream and Gooch have little to no chance ream even when playing didnt get called up in november. Gooch needs to pass a lot of centerbacks in his way. Packwood, Holmes, Ariybi are way too young for a world cup.
